Thanks everyone, I have to say AF did not come as a surprise, two days of cramps that felt very typical. I have this feeling inside of me that WHEN I do fall PG, I will have other symptoms. Don't know why I think that.

I feel surprisingly okay tonight, even though DH is away for work. Even though I had a cry last night, I sometimes I feel like I am supressing the emotions but I can only feel what I feel.

I will have a nice dinner with DH on the weekend, drink some wine and eat like a medieval feasting wench and just indulge a little.

Beyond that, I am focussing on the next move already, which I am a little bamboozled by.

I hope you indulge me for a tick and tell me your opinions on my situation.

I have 7 day 2 frosties - I already made the decision to move clinics and FS, it is now just a matter of when. I spent the day back and forth on the phone to the current clinic, to be told about my FS's request/new protocol by the business manager !!! I called to ask about costs of a FET and he says "oh yes and your doctor has ordered a medicated FET". Not only did she not tell me this, I have absolutely no explanation as to why. She doesn't even KNOW that I have regular cycles. Rang the FN back, she gave me the rundown of the protocol if I was to go ahead with FS orders, I told her I wanted to know more about why FS had taken that route. FN told me to ring FS rooms, FS receptionist REFUSED to ask FS to call me, referred me back to FN @ clinic. Finally .. apparently the FS will take another look at my file tonight and maybe call me back by Friday. Sooooo angry at this treatment. Anyway, my options are this:-

    1. Push to go straight into a natural FET cycle with my current clinic, see what happens.

    2. Do a medicated cycle with current clinic, per FS file 'note', which means a 5 week process

    3. Move everything including frosties to new clinic, where I have an appt on Nov 1, but not sure if I could do an immediate natural cycle there, (O would be due around the 4th or 5th) as it might be too tight to have new FS, FN appt, get the frosties transported etc etc.

Sorry for the long bumbling post, I just am trying to get my head clear.

Also, just want to say, minibar, ALL THE BEST !!! Your bub hub buds are there pushing for you !

And to sunny, big hugs hun. I pray Friday brings you better news.

lilbirdy... its great to hear that you have such a positive attitude... I was like you... tears for a few days then it was thinking about the next cycle....

from what you have said it sounds like you are very unhappy at your present clinic and dont feel like they are in your best interests..or trust them..probably not a place you want to be... remember your frozen embies will not age like your fresh ones.

I certainly cant tell you what to do...but having been in a similar situation with my last cycle.... I would prob wait move the the embies to your new FS... and then maybe talk about a fresh cycle.... after all those embies are your stockpile... if you want a 2nd child they are your lovely 41yr old eggs... because you will be around 43 thinking of number 2... thats my philosphy with my 6 frozen embies... hoping that they produce number 2 child next year..
Its hard to break with your first FS... but remember its a consumer bussiness and if they are not providing you the services you are paying for then you must ask yourself can I get better value for my dollar and a BFP some where else.
My best advice is to collate all your cycle data....
results, hormones injected, vitamins taken, time of injecting, egg results, luteal support, SO that when you go to the new FS they have all the data needed to figure out what you need to do for a successful cycle...

I hope that you can come to a decision Im sure in your heart I think that you already have made the decision.
    Good luck...xxxx

    Hi girls,

Lilbirdy - bugger.... but you knew and have grieved already and planning the next step so you're way in front already. I'd just go to new FS on 1st and make decision from there. Not a decision to be rushed....

sunny15 - that really suxs - all that waiting you've done and still no action. I hope friday gives you the green light...

minibar - SO SO exciting - good luck Friday! Look forward to hearing how it all goes

AFM - still sniffing - jabbing starts Friday with a lesson!??

Lilbirdy - I think your treatment has been appalling!! I cant believe that your FS wont even speak to you on the phone. I know after our BFN that I needed face to face time to get my head around things. I agree with Micca and Mum4Nay. If it were me then I'd be moving lock, stock and barrel to the new FS. Hopefully you'll feel the love there coz sometimes we just need to feel some love. Good luck with your decision. Im sure that even though you know their service hasnt been great it's still difficult to move.

AFM - just waiting on appointment with the FS who is going to do our EPU and ET. All booked with him for consult on Friday morning.

    Good Evening!

Lilbirdy - my advice would be not to waste another second (or cent) on your current clinic. As Micca says, your embies are your back up plan so it gives you a bit of space while you book a cycle with a new FS. I don't know where you live or who your FS is, but your story sounds so familiar with the bad experiences several women I know had with a FS called AC.

I'm a bit of a clinic tart - I've been to all three in Canberra and can't say I've been 100% happy with any of them. They're either overpriced, have lab staff with appalling reputations, or stuck in the dark ages.

I've just received my info pack from QFG (Warren DeAmbrosis). Thrilled to see I'll be paying less per cycle than at SIVF or ISIS - so even with the flights and accommodation between Canberra and Sydney I'll still be out front.

Minibar - good luck for next week. Your life will never be the same again. We don't expect to see you here for weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks. Hope it's a smooth birth and all goes to plan.

AFM - nothing to report here. Having fun with the jabbing - 1 x Lucrin and 2 x Gonal F each night because the clinic ran out of 900iu Gonal F so gave me 300iu - my dose is 450iu!

    Hey girls,

My goodness, I've been popping on to try and keep up with everyone but it just hasn't been enough. I've lost track of what's going on and I'll have to read back and take some notes before I can do personals.

Lilbirdy, I'm sorry to hear that AF turned up but it is great that you are already looking forward. I hope you decide what's best for you with your FS. You need to feel comfortable and happy that they are doing everything they can for you. Sending you good that everything works out wonderfully for your next cycle.

Minibar, wishing you all the very best for Friday. I hope it all goes perfectly and can't wait to hear.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I'll have to go further back to see where everyone is at.

My brothers wife had their second baby yesterday. All natural. My brother rang me on a video call about 20 mins after the birth. It was so cute. They live in Sydney so it was nice to be able to be a little part of it. She was having her first feed, although he didn't put that on the video, but it was nice to see them and hear what was going on.

I'm starting jabbing tonight. I'll go do it in about half an hour. Yay, something to look forward to. Then the count down will start. One down, 11 to go.

AF looked like it had come a bit when I started sniffing but before I'd finished the pill. FN said that synarel can bring it on. Well, that wasn't AF because she has shown up today and she's a biatch. Hope jabbing gets rid of her soon. Thought it wasn't going to happen seeing I stopped the pill a week ago but here she is.

Anyway, I hope everyone is good. I'll go back and catch up. Take care everyone.

Hellooo everyone, hope you all are having a good morning. It's going to be 25 degrees today so a nice long walk is in order. I feel from what I keep on reading here that perhaps I don't belong here. I am way behind all of you who are having egg transfers and I can't even work up one decent egg. Any suggestions? Perhaps there is a thread for girls who are where I'm at as I desperately need the support. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Have a groovy day all.

    Hi everyone

It is looking like a beautiful day!!

LILBIRDY - I agree with the others I would change clinics. Being filled with uncertainty and anxiety by your current clinic due to not communicating properly or giving you the time to explain fully is not good for you. I changed clinics and they are alot better willing to do a bit more but still im not 100% happy.

I love your winning attitude. its a bit kinder if we have pre-warning ie your body tells us what is about to happen. enjoy your lovely dinner with DH

DEELICIOUS - Love that your a clinic tart - good on you for shopping around! are you in sydney or canberra?

HOPING4MORE - Cant AF be a cow sometimes! great you have started no a new cycle

OOOPS realised the time i better log into work site before i get in trouble

    back later with more
