Had worked in public libraries for about 11 years. Free books!! Loved it. Would love to get into school libraries when all my kids are older so I can have their hours & holidays & still spend my days surrounded by books & readers

I have never really had a 'propper' job.. just a couple of casual positions here and there while i was at school and the following year (also the year i fell preg with dd1)...

when i found out i was preg with dd1, i had just started waitressing in a little chinsese restaurant, but that went out the window the day i found out i was preg... walked in to start my shift and threw up all over the kitchen floor .. my boss goes "your suprised to find out your pregnant?" im like "of course"... apparently him and his wife knew after me only doing 2 shifts lol. i ended up resigning then and there cuz the smell of the food was torture (and seeing the duck carcus's on the bench didnt help).

havent worked since... have applied for a TON of jobs but never heard anything back. done 2 courses at tafe tho.

I was a nanny. one of those proper american style nannies, who lives in most of the time. it was full on. getting up to sick kids in the night, running to and from a million different activities, between the boy school and the girl school the children attended, somehow managing to cook dinner, do homework and get kids cleaned and happy and in bed by 7! argh! it was hard work!
now I am a community support worker, which is a bit more laid back at times, having cups of tea with the old ladies heh
