Mrsjag – you made my day, not only are you PUPO with a beautiful hatching blasty on board but 2 frosties, congratulations , I just love hearing good news. I had to laugh when you said you and DH high-fived over the speculum, wish I was there to see that , too funny, did it end up being a guided transfer? So great you guys are excited, and so you should be. Beautiful picture by the way. You have such a way with words, love the bum talk, hope the Metamucil helps. Eating sultanas are good too
Kylee – glad to hear you had a break and even bought yourself a car
Sharlein – I understand you spending time with Mr Grey, glad he’s keeping your mind busy in the TWW, how have you been feeling? You’ve survived 1 week, well done, hope this week flies by
Jems – I don’t know why I got emotional reading about your tatt, you already told us and I knew you were getting one, but just reading it again has got me all teary. Gee, 2 ½ hours, but so worth it. Can’t wait to see the finished version. Then to hear you were asked to be godparents, so touching, what lovely friends you have
Lynlee – I know what you mean about signatures, it just breaks my heart when I read them too, wish they could be reversed, eg cycle 1 = DS, cycle 2 = DD, instead of seeing BFN or MCs. How have you been doing this week? Looking forward to you starting again, Sept is not that long, well it’s about 3 weeks but I know, in this game 3 weeks can feel like 3 months
Lilly – how have you been going jabbing away? Do you have an idea of when EPU will be?
Andrea – what have you been up to lately?
Jeannie – you’re on the home stretch now hun, when are you testing, is it Sunday?
Hi to other WFC chicks
AFM – I’m going to call Dr Fong tomorrow to book in an appointment. Too many of you recommend her so I just can’t ignore that. Dr Melhem is away so I can’t see her until 17 Sept, I was hoping to start cycling by then. Even if she wasn’t away, whenever I need to make an appointment to see her I just have to fit in with her next available appointment, I thought I could see her earlier as soon as I got a BFN, but not, have to wait like everyone else. I’m feeling OK, just in limbo land. Don’t feel excited about anything really, just taking each day as it comes. I’ll let you know how I go with Dr Fong.

It's so great that you are so happy mrsjag. I think positivity makes all the difference.
MTC- oh I didn't want to make you teary. But I love it and it always close to my heart. Naaawww there I go again being soppy. Cant wait for colour, ive never had an un finished one.I was so thrilled to be asked to be godparents. I <3 all my friends kids so much and it's nice to be able to spoil them. I hope you get all your answers when you get an appt and can get back into it. That's what I'm looking forward to. I feel like I'm wasting this time doing nothing.
Two more days can't wait to see Rachel on Wednesday.

well I had my appointment with Dr Smith yesterday and was just blown away with how great he was. Cannot even compare to the doctor I was using that is with Genea.
So.... I left ready to go with either of 2 options when my period arrives next Thursday
1) Try Femara for 1-3 cycles depending on how over it I get
2) Start IVF on the short agonist cycle i.e. no pill just injections starting from first day of period for 10-14 days. Starting dose of 100 Gonal F (due to high AMH number and official diagnosis of PCOS)
So I am thinking that next Thursday in only a week away and to be starting IVF injections from then without the pill for a few weeks before is just a bit too close for comfort with having to get a glucose test and an ultrasound done before then give Dr Smith time to reassess based on results and then get down for an appointment with nurses etc. Its all just a bit quick and even though Dr Smith said it can be done I think i am going to give femara a go for at least 1 cycle and then depending on how I respond either stick with it or move on to IVF next cycle.
But all in all I was so very happy with Dr Smith and everything he said. He was just so respectful and informed etc etc We were in our appointment for 2 hours and i never once felt rushed etc he said all he would do would be to give me the options but we need to make final decision over which option to take and need to decide by this Thursday.
mrsjag - congrats on being PUPO and even with some frosties. Such good news
kylee - I am so sorry to hear your a not doing great. Its so sad when things dont work out the way you want and you start to lose hope. What is your plan for next steps?
sharlein - when do you get to test?

Jems - I want to see pictures once you're coloured, ok?
Andrea - So happy your appointment went well. I haven't met Dr. Smith yet, but I remember at our first appointment with Dr. Fong, she really spent a LOT of time reassuring us and giving us options. That was exactly what we both needed, especially since we'd transferred from a specialist who gave us 10 minutes. Ridiculous.
Sharlein - No, totally fine. It's good if Crinone isn't bothering you!
AFM, I'm crampy today. Feels like AF coming, typical kind of PMS-y feel. It's scary. I'm only 3dp5dt - really praying we're not already out??? Crazy.

Hi ladies. Sorry quick me post as I'm on my phone.
Got a text a little while ago from WFC asking me to come in for an ultrasound tomorrow morning. I was booked in on Friday morning and had my first blood test this morning. Im on about day 7 of jabbing. Is this bad that they have asked me to come in early? Do you think they are going to cancel my cycle or something?

Jems – good luck with your appointment tomorrow
Andrea – good luck with the femara next week, hope it helps and you won’t need to do an antagonist cycle. Great to hear you like Dr Smith, I reckon that helps so much in this process. I can’t believe I’m about to change to my 3rd FS, just no pleasing some people I suppose
Mrsjag – I hope the cramps are a good sign and NOT AF, it is scary to have these feelings but can also be exciting at the same time. Yes, crazy, that’s what the TWW is all about
Lilly – I’m not sure what this means, possibly your estrogen levels were high (or is it supposed to be low) enough to be able to have an ultrasound? Sounds like to me that they just want to check how many follies you have and their sizes, just in case you’re ahead of schedule? Either way, you’ll find out in a few hours, good luck, hope all is OK
AFM – I went on to the WFC website to get Dr Fong’s number when I noticed a new FS that is close to my work. I don’t know what came over me but I phoned her instead (her name is Dr Cerez-Magnaye) and made an appointment. But I’m so confused, as I know nothing of this Dr, I just went with what’s convenient for me, but I love the positive feedback of Dr Fong. I don’t know what to do, if I should keep the appointment or cancel it and call Dr Fong. The way I am, I won’t be surprised if I stick to this appointment and then book with Dr Fong, I probably will see all the Drs at WFC by the time I get my BFP

Lilly - I'm sure they are just being cautious about an e2 reading. An extra ultrasound can't hurt!
MTC - I was meaning to tell you guys, the doctor who did my transfer on Saturday was a young (& super friendly) one who I hadn't seen before on the WTC doctor list. I wish I had caught her name on transfer day (was distracted by the blasty!) but she was nice. I wonder if that's her? Maybe ring Dr Fong's office to see which can see you earlier & that will help make your mind up.

Good luck today Lilly!
So, I think I'm catching hubby's man flu. (But as a lady, of course.) He has been sick since retrieval and is just getting over it. I was fine all last week, but have Had the sore throat/stuffy nose combo the last few mornings.
Surely this can't be good for the TWW? I'm only 4dp5dt.
