Hi Slowly getting used to it. He has sort of worked away before for a few weeks just working away for 5 days then home for the weekend but this is the first time he has done FIFO. It is nice having him home for a full week though, his last job he was working some crazy hours and we only got Sunday's with him and he was just so tired all the time. I am in Thornlie.

I always think the weekends are harder when my DH isn't here as I think of all the families doing fun things.

But i have to remember that i get the best of both worlds as i get my husband home every second week for 7 days. Plus he only works half the year.

I think i am having a low day today plus its my husband's birthday today and I cant share it with him as he isn't home.

Do you have ideas to do something special for him when he returns on Wednesday.

Thursday & Monday are kids free days if that helps.

    Thanks,

Hubby is home in two sleeps. This time ha been harder than ever before as miss 6 has had two hospital emergency trips and specialist appointments and doctors appointments with her eyes and her being generally sick. Have been up since 2am with her being so unwell
