Default Mel and Vee's egg donation journey one DD and one on the way!!

Well here we are, our very first donor cycle is underway... Feels like it's happened so quickly, it also feels like we have been waiting for this moment forever.

We have been blessed with the most wonderful Donor - Vee (V8) . We have spent the last 4 months getting everything sorted and now the time we have all been waiting for has arrved.

This will be a journey in 2 parts-
    P1: Veronica's cycle

Then i have to go away for 3 weeks in june and didn't want to risk andything so waiting for ET.

    P2:My FET Mid July

We are currently on D2 of Vee's cycle.
We were surprised to be on our way this week.
I dropped her stash of drugs off on Wednesday with the expectation that Af would arrive sometime next week . I think it got over excited with the prospect of getting started as yesterday i got the call from Vee to say it had arrived

Vee starts her synarel sniffing today and jabbing puregon from tomorrow.
First scan will be next Thursday.

    I can't believe we have started !!

    Yay!

I can't believe the timing either, was quite funny

Have booked and organised my first scan for next week. Started my first synarel spray today, and tomorrow i start the puregon injections. Fingers crossed everything is on track when we go for the scan and then not long after that is EPU.

For anyone considering being a donor it seems overwhelming at first, but once you get to this stage, it's so worth it, and it really hasn't been stressful at all. I'm lucky my recipient the lovely Mel is so great helping out with the kids while i'm at appts etc and we've been able to share this experience together which has made the whole thing much less scary

Looking forward to the next step in the journey and will be hanging out till July to see how it all went

Yahhhhh I'm so excited this long awaited cycle is underway at last!!

V8 it's lovely to 'meet' you, I have often thought what an angel you are to be doing this & I'm so happy that you found melk who is just perfect & a wonderful person, I better not gush too much in case it goes to her head, but it seems that sometimes the universe gets things right after all.

I'm so excited about this ladies it gives me that giggly feeling, bring on the next installment & good luck with the jabbing v-angel.

    Thanks lillipilly and Mrs P.

Misti - Your post made me giggle, that's so great hearing that others are just as excited and pumped as us to be going through this little journey. I think you're right the universe has a funny way of bringing people together.

I am busting for the scan on Thursday to see how it's all going. Have a busy week next week already so it's good in a way to have some distractions from thinking about it all the time! lol

Mel - This time next year i'm sure you'll have a little bubba to gaze at and cuddle for each and every mothers day to come

Feeling bloated already and its only day 2, that must mean i need more chocolate or something! hehe.

Hope everyone had a great mothers day Thanks for reading
