Canada
Love the lifestyle, the people, ice hockey and the country.
It has everything, the ocean and the mountains, the big cities and the countryside.
Plus I have a couple friends over there, mainly on the east coast but I wouldn't be too fussed where.
Or then somewhere in Scandinavia. If only it wouldn't be so expensive to live there.

DP has just gone for a job interview for a job in Japan.
I think it'd be an awesome experience for DS. He'd pick up the language reasonably quick and learn a whole new way of living.

DH actually was offered jobs overseas a few years ago and we decided it was better to stay here. One was in Santa Monica in the States and one in UK. We were seriously considering going to the States as financially it was better but then all financial chaos happened over there and the rest of the world and we were so thankful we didn't go.
Now we'd go to NZ as it's close to home, they speak English. I wouldn't go to a non english speaking country it would be too hard. Also there is a big Special Effects company there which DH would love to work for. They made Lord of the Rings etc and since DH works in that field he'd love it and it's great for his resume. For me I could get on a plane and visit family etc. But it would have to be for a year only. I'd miss home too much.

As long as it's hypothetical, Northern Ireland. We'd have family there and I love the countryside and cold weather. But with the global economy the way it is at the moment, I'd be lucky to get any type of job there at all.
Apart from that maybe India just for the experience. India would be awesome.

Oooo Japan! Lovely. Fingers crossed he gets the job. Expensive country but if you are earning yen not so bad. You'd get to go to Hokkaido and let the kids play in the snow or stroll through the cherry blossom-lined streets of Kyoto and Tokyo. I'm going to be so envious of you if you go!!
