Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.

Zac -wow, happy anniversary, I've always wanted to go there too. You must tell us all about it when you get back.

Caz - you caved!!! Good for you, its wonderful to tell people isn't it. I'm as far along as you (11 weeks), it gets hard to keep it in doesn't it. But the closer I get to the 12 week scan, I really just want to see that heart beat. I know its silly, the chances of everything being ok are much better than than not being, but it seems so long since we had the first scan (nearly a month!). I suppose the massive (.)(.), m/s and fatigue should keep me reassured though.

Welcome Lisa and Rainbow - Congratulations to you both. I think our thread should come with a warning. It can get a little crazy here sometimes

May - what a wonderful way to tell your DD, and to think to get it on video . The poor thing, is she at school yet, she'll have to wait 2 whole weeks to tell all her friends!

Smiley - good for you, a step closer to low risk. How many more things do you need to ween off? Are you nearly there? I can't believe you couldn't eat your haigh's easter egg. You truly must be sick.. Send it over here! I have no problem eating chocy at the moment. The more the better!

Peanut- only 2 sleeps to your scan, hope it flies by!

Dragon - goodness you are making me laugh. Good for you to be on the puke train. Fortunately I have not puked yet (and hopefully I won't) but have certainly had my fair share of nausea

Herewego - sounds like you brother is the fun police.. oh well, we have all done so much to get this far, seems silly to take risks now doesn't it.

Simon - the easter egg hunt. Something we are looking forward with once we get a little monster of our own!

Em - only 4 weeks to the move, you coming over this side of the bridge aren't you with your FIL? Glad to hear you are starting to feel better

AFM - not sure if I have mentioned it already (excuse me if I have) but we don't intend to find out the sex of the baby, unless it becomes accidently apparent. We are up for the surprise. As for names, if it is a boy, it will be named after my grandfather, we have already told him this and he is very excited, so it will be John. He has asked what we will do if it is a girl, we said, well we won't call her John. He just smiles. We like Violet, but will have to wait and see what the little baby looks like when she comes out.

It seems ready or not, another week of work is upon us. Oh well, while they keep paying, I'll keep showing up! Seems like a fair deal to me. Happy hols to all our teacher buddies in this thread, hope you are enjoying your time off

Sydney that's not fair that you're 11 weeks and haven't puked yet haha and here I thought I was missing out at 8 wks. Sadisitic lot we are here my sister asked me the other day if I had suffered from ms yet and I replied no she then said lucky me. But I thought to myself " I wanna be sick" just so I know that something is still happening. Isn't it crazy how we think different to people who can concieve naturally? Anyway since I've found out that I'm pregnant I've put on 3 kgs and I'm forever sleeping doesn't seem like I can ever get enough of it anyone else the same? As for finding out the sex, a surprise would be good but I don't know if I could be that patient. DH is intending to go overseas to his niece's wedding around the time I can find out. I told him if he's away and I find out I'm not going to tell him what it is.

Dragon - i have not puked at all lol I just feel so sick i can't move!!! I wonder if i would feel better if i did chuck...but I just can't! Do you want to copy and paste the honour role into that first post?? That way we can keep track of ourselves...and anyone who joins us for december...also, in a few weeks you'll be adding some genders

Sydney - I'll keep the haighs till i feel better...but thanks for the offer of help!! I am still pretty sick from coming off the steroids, god i hope it gets better soon. I am off to another comedy festival show with DS today and i feel like death slightly warmed. To get to "low risk" I have to successfully wean off my Heparin at 20 weeks. It's 2 needles a day and is a blood thinner that makes sure am giving enough blood t the placenta. So only 1 more drug to go, but its a big one! Wow on the not finding out the gender, very impressed...but i couldn't do it lol

Herewego - sounds like your brother is very protective...and that is sweet. Figures a lawyer would remember all the rules and enforce them

Caz - not silly to really want to see the heartbeat....totally normal and it does help! Then wecan start the next round of worry :-/ I'm glad all your symtoms are helping you feel better.

Peanut - so close to the scan now!!! yippeeee

May - how is the news settling in? Did the easter bunny spoil your lil princess?

Simon - glad you had fun with the bunny too.

Em - moving when preggy is hard....but moving when you are sick and pregnant is crazy. Can you get someone to help? Are you hiring people??

Lisa and rainbow - how are you going girlies??

AFM - was going to type a bit...but E has decided that i am required elsewhere....i'll be back later lol

Smiley/Sydneygirls - Sure are moving back over the bridge, DH will get boys to help him move to hire removalist in Sydney is a couple of $1000 so bugger that hiring a truck and a feeding a few lads with food and beer is much cheaper

Dragon - I wish i had put on something but everyone is differant i have lost weight go figure but i sure am tried all the time which is why i havent started packing my house up yet

AFM - Got my scan tomorrow dont have the faintest how i'm going to get there by 8:30am on public transport without feeling off grrrr not feeling the best this morning thanks god one of my bosses is not in the office today so it should be better

As its a new thread i didnt read the last of the old one sorry

    Hi everyone,

I got my longed for BFP yesterday. HCG was 186 and progesterone 120. DH and I are very excited, but I also don't believe it too. I don't really feel that different and don't seem to have symptoms yet. I go in for another bt on Friday, so hopefully my levels will have increased nicely.

Jai - I said this in the other thread but CONGRATS ...you will be our first xmas baby i think (smiley correct me if i'm wrong)

Ok tips for you cause your going to ask we all did

    1) Totally normal to freak out before the scan at 6weeks ..breath it will be ok

    2) Dont read sad threads they only freak you out ..if you think a post is turning bad look away quickly

    3) Pains are normal ..some may feel like AF pains some are sharp and stabby ..if you move the wrong way it can hurt like all buggery ..and i'm told that they get worse the bigger you are

    4) Totally normal not to think your having any signs like morning sickness etc most of us didnt get anything until around the 8th or 9th week and now are wishing we hadnt got them at all

    5) Book your Ob early cause they book out fast

    6) Foods mmmm Chocolate Milk is a big hit in this thread

    7) Weight you may put on some you may not totally normal either way

    8) HCG levels dont read into them too much ..as long as between the first and second is a good rising level they dont matter too much after that ..(eg girls with one bubba had higher levels than me and i have two bubbas)

Ok i probably missed something ...the girls (and Simon) will surely have something else to add

Did you have one eggie put back or two?? And when is your due date and Smiley will add you to the roll call

Herewego - Woo hoo thats great did you get a pic??

Congratulations jai- welcome! Can you give us your EDD so we can add you to the honour roll.
Herewego- you must be so relieved. That's great news about your scan, I can't wait till my next one either. Don't worry we are all worry warts
smiley- I will copy the honour roll when I get on my computer at home don't think I could manage it on the iPhone.
Emma- I think I've just been lazy, I've been putting everything off. The house is a mess and we are supposed to be packing cos were moving soon. All I've done is eat and sleep hence the weight piling on. I'm the heaviest I ever been but I'm not fussed as long as I get a healthy baby at the end that's all that matters.
Hi to everyone else hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancy
