Are you wanting to travel??? I think over a beach maybe. photos would be stunning. Or at a small gorgeous country town......I know one is NSW where the buildings are stone and the rolling hills are green, the weather is beautiful most of the year......

    What state are you in!?!?!

    I'm in western sydney.

Don't really want to travel too far if possible

We had someone suggest doing it in a hot air balloon, which sounded like a good idea, but there's the chance you could wake up on the morning & the flight doesn't go ahead, so too risky for us.

    As little as possible LOL.

That's why I want to try & figure out where to do it, so we can work out how much we'll need.

Definately not spending thousands on it though. I'm one of those strange girls who never wanted a big white wedding & could never spend the sort of money some people do.

I've been married before, but it's DP's 1st. He'd be more than happy to go to a registry, but I want something a little more than that.

Why dont you do something the family would NEVER do....You could hire a house boat up the hakesberry for the day, or 1 night........That would be nice. Or a lovely dinner...Or to a winery, or a B&B............Or to the beach, with a nice picnic lunch on the sand........

How about in the Rocks? Observatory Hill? Under the harbour bridge? Watsons bay is nice or balmoral beach followed by lunch at the bathers pavillion.

I absolutely loved seeing these pics of this wedding. I thought it was really simple but just beautiful.

There's heaps of really different things around, especially since Sydney is in such a great placement really. We're getting married in Wollongong then heading a little further south to Jervis Bay to go whale watching the next day and just relaaaaax!
