We live in between these 2 primary schools so DS could go to either (will start kindy next year). Does anyone have an opinion on either Mullaloo Beach or Mullaloo Heights? I have looked at My School and they seem similar, and I will be going to look at both and talk to the principal, but parents are often the most valuable source I believe.

Mullaloo Heights vs Mullaloo Beach
Hi, hope this reply comes in time for you to use the info.
My son was enrolled at Kindy at Mullaloo Heights and completed that year, however as the year went on we were not really satisfied with the facilities and the joint kindy, pre-primary environment - this includes lessons as well at times (our reasoning being, once he had finished kindy, we wanted him to have more stimulation than the same kindy teachers and playing with kindy kids). We found the overall environment in the early childhood unit to be very chaotic with no real structure.
We looked around and visited Mullaloo Beach and were so relieved with what we found. The teaching staff in the Pre-primary could not have been more attentive and the assisting staff even more so. My son is now in Year 1 and had a fabulous year last year in Pre-primary. The school is currently upgrading to include a kindy and I would thoroughly recommend Mullaloo Beach over Mullaloo Heights every time. Also, I was talking with one of the other mums who actually went to Mullaloo Heights growing up and wanted to take her son there, but after going to see the school when the time came, she was so disappointed she did not enrol him. Hope this helps - I will certainly be sending my second one to kindy at Mullaloo Beach in a year or so.
