    Default help me work this out smart ppl pls???

    If there is a couple with 1 child and the man earns 42000k a year (mum not working) that's it and they rent for 230 a week how much would they get from centrelink including ftb a & b (not sure what the difference between these are.
    And rent assistance.
    Plus would the mum be entitlled to any parenting payment or something.
    I'm supposed to be help a friend out with these but I know squat on these matters and you ladies are to smart for me...

    probably around $400 to $450 a fn

    Y doesnt ur friends just call up centrelink and get an accurate estimate. You wont know if you eligable for the parenting payment until you have a meeting with c/l

    yeah i agree with Owens mum..probably around that mark..

    I think you can earn up to $47 000 before they take anything from you....

    So should be entitled to full FTB a and B and rent assitance and maybe a small amount of PPP.....

    they have the calculator on the website she can put her details into and it should give you her a pretty good estimate ....

    Cause he is about to start a job that pays way less (he got sacked) then he is earning now and they won't tell her anything till he finishes up in 2 weeks.
    I think it was contract work or something and he didn't get any pay out.

    As a single mum earning $27,000/year, I was able to get $280/fn in total from Centrelink but that's not including rent assistance as I'm not entitled to it. I can't imagine on that much that anyone would be entitled to any parenting payment.

    I was just on the website and typing in some numbers as our money is dropping dramtically.
    I think it's around the $500 mark a fortnight, includes some rent assistance.
    Do an online quote, it's super easy

    they won't be elligible for parenting payment but they def will be for ftb and fta
