Default anyone else doing IVF with PGD due to balanced translocation?

    HI there

I have just found out I have balanced translocation of chromosomes 16 and 19. My Ob has suggested PGD with IVF as an option.

I have an appointment with a geneticist on 10 Feb who will explain in detail what my condition entails.

Still, turning 35 in Feb plus this condition....my odds are slim

Anyone else in a similar predicament?

    Hey honey,

I have translocation of chromosomes 2 and 15 and I am also turning 35 in a week and a bit .

we have our genetic appointment on the 9th so I am not a 100% sure of alot of the information .

the pgd is also an option maybe for us as we have slow growing eggs so the best option maybe a donor.

hopefully we will be able to help each other with all the information.
