haha funny, i had to reply to this....i noticed the other day when i took the kids to maccas for tea that they barely touched their nuggets and chips.... i realised then that they hardly ever do.....BUT if it were carrot they most def would have, they are always sneaking whole carrots from the fridge and eating them! next time i think i will just pack a carrot, sit and have my coffee while they play!
In all seriousness, maybe the mum was having a coffee....not many places you can sit and have a coffee and the kids can be entertained...i don't see it weird at all.

Someone really needs to take a photo of their child at maccas with an enormous carrot. We could have a bubhub award for best carrot photo.
