I voted 10+ as I'm a NICU nurse so have attended (at a guess) probably 400-500 births in the past 9 years. I reckon I have pretty much seen it all from water births by torchlight to planned c/s. I must admit though I dont focus on the birth part as much, as Im focused and waiting for the baby to see what resuscitation it needs. Some shifts I attend no births and others 3-4 in a shift. I LOVE my job!

I have been priviledged enough to be at 3 births besides my own. Once each with my sisters and once with my SIL.

I have witnessed to births. My SIL natural birth her son,the clamp on placenta came off as it sprayed everywhere and me and the middie needed to be HIV/hep tested as a precaution.
My sister had an emergency c-section for her son at 34 weeks she had an ultrasound that day and he was in distress(she had been in a lot of stress that year.
    Both were wonderful experiences.

    I've been at five.

At 8 years old I was at the birth of my brother in hospital.
At 11 years old I was at the birth of my sister at home.
At 13 years old I was at the birth of my brother at home.
At 15 years old I was at the freebirth of my sister at home.
At 22 years old I was at the birth of my niece at home.

At each of the siblings births, all the siblings were there to see the next arrival!

In a few months one of my sisters will be at the birth of my first baby.
