    Default IVF Bubs due April/May/June 2010 #4

Hopeful: yay on the mawali mobile! how exciting - now you can start to put the room together! Sorry to hear about your MIL being so rude.

Ive had terrible heart burn on and off. Atm its doing good but have had a few days here and there where it was almost unbearable! Ive been doing unfiltred raw organic apple cider vinegar mixed into water which i find works a lot better than any of the tabs available.

As for mums being at the labour. I was going to have my mum with me last time but I ended up with a cesear. This time ive decided it will just be me and DH for the first week to give us both the time to bond properly with the bubs and get settled in before we have any visitors stay with us (mum will be coming from Canada so stays with us when she's here).

    Rollcall details:

    EDD June 7 2010
    Canberra ACT
    Its a boy!

hopeful - sorry to hear about your probs with the MIL. Good to hear that you think she'll be better once baby is here. I think some people just forget how sensitive us pregnant women can get ...grrr.

With labour I am looking forward to it. At this stage it will just be DH and I, however, I'm worried at how he will cope with it all.... mum is on standby just in case!!

earthangel - sorry to hear about the heart burn. Luckily I've only had it mild once or twice so far. I added you to the roll call/honour roll.... hopefully that's okay

Hopeful ~ Your MIL sounds like a nighmare.. mine is similiar but not really in a nasty way, she just constantly talks about DHs spoilt little sister... "oh poor Janelle had to have a laprascope and they found endometriosis".. well freeking HELLO, I've had 4 laps with bowel resection, bladder cystotomy all because I have grade 5 endo! And no it wasn't all Day Surge like poor little Janelle it was alot of time spent in hospital... Anyway she sent us a cheque for 200 dollars,.... better in my pocket than SILs ~ who is constantly bludging money off her parents! I didn't want inlaws to buy us anything for the baby because then I would feel like I would have to give it to SIL when she breeds!! Evil I know!

Hey has anyone had hair falling out??? I have thick hair anyway BUT it is falling out in massive clumps???

Oh can I please be added to the list..

Surfergal ~ due 27th May 2010 one bub and its a little surfergal! Location... Northern NSW!

have a lovely day everyone!! xo

My hair always falls out, apparently during pregnancy it's supposed to stop falling out and then after you give birth it starts falling out in clumps to make up for all the hair that didn't fall out in 9 months. However I find that I shed as much hair now as I did before

Our roll call is really coming along now, how excited! Glad to hear I'm not the only insane person looking forward to giving birth I've started writing up a birth plan (nothing too specific just what I 'hope' will happen as I don't trust the hospital to listen to me when I actually get there). DH actually found the template for me and started working on it, which was sweet. He seems committed to making this about what I want.

Nothing to add from me at the moment. Just had a quiet day with DH tidying the house. We've started the process of clearing out the nursery which is exciting..... just really posting as I could see that surfergal wanted to be added to the list. Hope you ladies all had a great weekend!

    Default Birth Plan

I just thought I'd post this link for anyone interested. It outlines things that can be included in the birth plan and it looks fairly simple and comprehensive. Apparently midwives like dot points to make it easier to read and refer to.
