I just pulled out my info yesterday to put back up on the fridge. I could never remember so I have a magnet that goes on the fridge, good idea for DH.

Freshly expressed is 6hr room temp, 3-5 days fridge, 3mth freezer, 6mth deep freeze (-18degree)

Frozen then thawed fridge (not yet warmed) is 4 hr room temp, fridge 24hr, no refreeze

Frozen thawed in warm water is 4hr fridge, no room temp, no refreeze.

Thawed in fridge over 24hours or warmed quickly but not using boiling water, no microwave.

I have the same info as pp but just wanted to crash your thread (sorry!!!!) and see if anyone's frozen EBM has gone "blotchy" looking after less than 3 months? Has been right at the back of the freezer (i.e not near the door so can't blame in it being exposed to the warm air when the door is opened - not that it is opened for that long). DH and I are too scared to feed it to DS for fear it might be off or something?

I would say that it would just be the fat and water having separated and being affected by the cold differently. EBM won't be 'off' and even if it was, it won't hurt your baby. You would smell it if there was anything wrong with it.
