Soclose - Sorry you had to cancel your cycle . Your cycle will happen and all will go well when it does, understandable that you want that to happen when life is a little less chaotic.

Micca - Woohoo PUPO! Snuggle in little one, your mummy has lovingly prepared your home for the next 9 months so you will be comfortable & cherised

Mini - Great scan results. I hope the 30th comes quickly for you so you can see bubs again & hit that wonderful 12 week mark

lilly - Yucky pill! I hope you are feeling better today. Back on the rollercoaster again & there will be a wonderful bonus waiting for you on Preg BT day

Sooz - Sorry to hear your unwell. I have heard that some people who don't normally get sick that do through the 2WW usually end up with a positive result. that happens for you.

Hello to all you other lovely ladies

AFM - Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes about our fur baby . He is currently an inpatient at a specialist vet centre as his blood counts weren't doing what they should and he needed more intense treatment. He is currently doing ok, his red cell count has raised slightly which is an improvement on it going down as before. His diagnosis has been confirmed as Immune-Median Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). So far he hasn't needed a blood or plasma transfusion but they are still a possibility depending on how he goes. He has blood tests every 6 hours to check his levels and continued treatment goes on those results. We were allowed to visit him tonight which was good as it's nice to see for ourselves how he is doing.

Again thank you for being such wonderful caring ladies & understanding my worry and need to share my furbaby info.

Soclose - So sorry to hear about your cancelled cycle. It's a tough call to put it off, but you know when it's not the right time.

Micca - hope you're surviving the 2ww. Thinking of you.

Mini - So glad your scan went well. I bet it's a fab feeling to see your little bub.

AFM - Cape Town is just gorgeous. FS is lovely. A bit of a hiccup with donor as her follicles are growing slowly. EPU meant to be Thurs/Fri but is likely not to be until Saturday at the earliest. I know it's nothing to worry about, she probably just needs a few more days to cook (but of course I'm worried).

I've been updating my blog, so if you're interested there's more about it there (and photos of Cape Town).

    Talk soon!

    Hi everyone.

Sorry haven't posted in a while, am very busy looking for somewhere else to live, not successful yet

Soclose - sorry to hear your cycle is cancelled, it's always a blow when this happens. Hope your mum is getting better.

    Pisces
    - to you and your furbaby. I'm sorry I can't recall, but I was wondering if you are on any meds for NK's etc?

Sooz - I hear you, I have a cold atm myself, am home from work. I'm enjoying the time off but it's the pits to be sick & not be able to take anything for it . I was pretty sick just after my EPU and during the transfer stage, I thought it would mess things up but it didn't. I generally don't get sick either, apparently our immunity drops when we get pregnant You should be right as long as you don't get a temp.

Penny - great to hear from you. Hope things are churning along well now.

Micca - congrats on being PUPO Sounds like everything went smoothly, enjoy your 2ww, looking forward to great news from you.

Hello to anyone I've missed. Hope all is well.

    Default hello

    Hi Ladies

I have been missing in action.

Micca – Congratulations on PUPO. I am so glad you have your mum with you to keep you company during the 2ww! How are you feeling?

Penny - My fingers and toes are crossed for you and hubby. I am sure a little hiccup wont cause too much concern, ha easy for me to say. Take care over there, and good luck! X

    Pippy – happy jabbing.

Mini – The scans put our minds at easy don’t they! How are you feeling?

Soclose – I wish you and your mother well x

Pisces –Hope you are well , and fur baby is on the mend.

Lilly – hope you are feeling better x

Sooz – Hope you are feeling better. I know what you mean about sneezing. I seem to be sneezing all day, very strange. I quickly cross my legs, and at times I feel like I have pulled a muscle in my side, which freaks me out! X

A big hello to everyone else.

Well, I had a miserable week, but very happy today. I again started bleeding heavy last Sunday rich red blood (yes I know, by now I shouldn’t worry, but it is becoming a joke!) that lasted three days, but on top of that I have major back pain since Saturday and it’s still giving me the gips. I decided to go to my local Dr today, and he referred me for an ultrasound. Baby is fine at 4.75cm and was doing cartwheels! The bleed is coming from a 2mm slit in the bottom of my uterus at the top of the cervix. She said that a lot of ladies have this type of thing but is usually at the top, and by the time the blood comes down the cervix it is brown, what we know as old blood. She said this wont harm the little one, so amazing. So now I can rest easy, and stop stressing! I get to see the little one again next Wednesday for the 12 week scan.

Rest easy girls, talk soon x

Morning everyone, firstly thank you all so much for your kind words I have decided I will probably take a two month break, we have a long road ahead with mum but she is now in the right place getting the proper help she needs.

Sorry for lack of personals, I am thinking of everyone and will try and check in everyday to follow everyone's journey.

Pippy - Good luck with the sniffing and jabbing. I know how you feel about those scans. It's a horribly nervous build up isn't it?

Kismet - Hope you find a new place for you and bubba soon! Happy house hunting.

Anxious - You poor thing. You must be beside yourself with all this bleeding. I don't think you'd ever get 'used' to it. I don't blame you for being worried about it. Glad it was all ok though. Fingers crossed that this is the end of it.

Micca - Hope you survive the 2ww. Sounds like you are doing well. Happy baking and reading tomorrow! BAS won't be fun, but you'll feel good when it's done.

AFM - EPU is definately scheduled for Saturday now. Its also our donor's birthday on Saturday so I feel pretty bad about that. But I'm really really happy to finally have a definative date.

I've posted photos of our safari on my blog if anyone is interested in seeing them.

    cheers from gorgeous Cape Town!

    Evening lovely ladies,

Penny – Wow what an adventure. I’ve heard Cape Town is a beautiful place. Would love to sight your blog if ok - how do I get to it? I’m sure all with be fine with your donor… how exciting!

Micca – sounds like you’re pretty relaxed and cruising along nicely. What’s on the baking menu? Yum! I’m sure time will fly when you go back to work, it did for me. Here's wishing lots of comes your way.

Pippy – Jabs, sniffs, scans, what we lovely ladies have to go through. Pretty amazing stuff I think. Some amazingly strong women on this thread. Best of luck with your scan.

Kismet – hope you’ve managed to kick that rotten cold and have finally found yourself a nice little pad to settle into.

Anxious – hope your sneezing eases and so relieved for you to hear all is well with bubs

SoClose – take care and your mother is a very lucky lady to have such a caring daughter

Pisces – sounds like you are doing all you can to give your fur baby the best of care, my thoughts are with you and your furry one.

    AFM
I’m pretty sure my 2ww has sadly been cut short. AF arrived today – 2 days early. Quite different to what normally occurs, but sufficient enough bleeding for me to feel fairly confident that it’s just not my turn this time round. Trying to find all the positives I possibly can to not allow the disappointment to set in, just a little tough though…… but, I guess I now have the opportunity to go down the ICSI route and hopefully build a little store of embies this time.

Would appreciate any feedback with regards to having a months break before the next cycle. Is it usual to have a break before another cycle? Has that been the practice for most of you? I assume I need to give my body a break from the drugs for a month before I go another round. Would I get a better result by doing this?

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

    Hugs to all Sooz
