    Default Hycosy test

I had this test done yesterday, after being reffered by my FS. We have been ttc for 13 months now and im 33 years old. Im just wondering what happens now? Has anyone had this procedure done and then fallen?
The doctor said that both my tubes are fine, no blockages.

I can't answer your question but I hope your feeling fine. I think I'll be having this test done very shortly so i would be interested with your answers.

    Hi there!

I had this test done just recently. We had been trying for around 8 months and after all the other tests come back normal and excellent Dr suggested I have this done to see if my tubes were blocked or any other issues with my ovaries etc. If nothing came from this we were onto fertility treatments.

We had this done and the very next cycle we fell!

I was told there was an increased chance of falling for the 2 months following the hycosy and that proved true for us.

I am now 8w4d and although have had some issues along the way with bleeding etc my baby is growing and has a strong heart beat and all is going the way it should be.

    Best of luck to you

    zultbear and Alibearbub!

zultbear i feel good now, it was quite painful for me during the test, but i think i have a pretty low pain threshold. I also had some cramping the next morning. And also TMI but have had darkish blood spotting which they said was normal. I think the test has some sort of cleansing side affect IYKWIM

CONGRATULATIONS Alibearbub that is great news!! I have heard that its very common for that to happen, so for me. Its about 5 days till O for me, so heres hoping. I hate waiting!

    Ladies

I'm glad your feeling better. I've already had 2 children naturally so I think my pain threshold is pretty high lol.

I'll know more as to if I'll be having that test done on Wednesday so I'll let you know. Do they do it at the FS or at a medical imaging place?

My FS has decided that I'm having a Laparoscopy instead of the Hycosy test.

I'm booked in for January 25th. We are to keep doing the Clomid untill then to keep my cycles regular.

I've never had stitches so an OP is going to be huge for me!

Sorry for not having replied to this sooner zultbear as i have been away and not had access to a computer.
I hope your procudure goes well ((hugs))

ASF, well while we were away on holidays i ovulated, came back home and felt extremeley exhausted, so 5 days before AF was due i took a test and there was a really faint line, i didnt get too excited as this has happened to me before and AF arrived the next day. So i tested again the next day, and a darker line, then the next day and the line was even darker. Had a blood test and it too was positive (sorry for the long story) So im 4 weeks UTD!!

It doesnt feel real! Im so excited and praying for a sticky one.
