Here a majority of trolley "boys" are the mentally handicapped. It is so nice to listen in to their conversations about their job. They get so much job satisfaction out of it and enjoy it too.

I don't judge people based on their employment.

Another who doesn't care who does the job.

Its a lot better that SOMEONE is doing it. And its great that people with a disability etc are given the opportunity to work.

We actually have a lady that collects trolleys for woolies & big w near where I work. She is an awesome lady. Comes into work sometimes & is very nice, polite, well mannered lady. And good on her for working in what I see as mainly men doing the job.

Meh - so long as they're paying tax and being paid legally, who really cares?

    I don't really care.

I've started working at Maccas, and there are women who work there, doing the same job as me (so not managers or anything) who are late 30s, early 40s. You could say they're doing "kids" jobs, but really, they just need money. Some of them are single mothers, and it's a good way for them to get back into the workforce really, especially if they've not really worked before.

People need to make money... I don't really care if a grown man collects trolleys.

Whats a 'proper grown man' job!

I think that jobs should be given to people who have the right skills for them. I don't think age should be considered. In fact I think that can be considered discrimination!
