Default New pram launching into Australia - iCandy: review

    Hi All,

I went to the baby expo in melbourne on the weekend and saw the new pram that is being launched into Australia in Dec/Jan.
It's called the iCandy and is from the UK.
They are really popular in the UK and are compared to the Bugaboo.
I 'test-drove' them for ages and loved it. The suspension is great and it can easily convert from a 4 wheel to 3 wheel if you want to go running etc. Plus it is so easy to put up and down - unlike some prams I tried that seemed to be so complicated!
I'm going to get the 'apple' which come in 5 colours (or flavours as they call them!) and its going to retail for around $800 - so very comparable to the Mountain Buggy, City Jogger, and less than the Bugaboo!
The baby can sit both ways and the seat tilts from fully upright to laying down (with moveable foot rest - I think the bugaboo looks funny in full lay down with foot area sticking up)
It is really innovative and you can 'upgrade' to the pear by buying an attachment and it becomes a double pram for newborn and toddler or 2 toddlers.
I've got more details if anyone is interested, so feel free to pm me.
I have ordered the icandy apple with 2 flavours (red & purple) plus the footmuff, bassinette etc. There is even a cup holder - its due to arrive in Dec/Jan.
I can't wait to get mine!

I found them a little heavy and didnt like the wheels very much...they are a bit bulky..i guess if i had twins or babys close together it might be good..
I still prefer bugaboo...but like the name...

I cant believe they are finelly come to australia. I was going to import one when i first found out i was pregnant i was going to get the icandy pear.. as both my 2 are close in age. But after being quoted 1900 to just get the pram here with out anything else i changed my mind.. Now i have changed it back to getting one. Please spill the beans on how to order it..

I quite like the apple one
The tyres are hard ones.. and yeah you can turn it in to a jogger you have to have either the apple or pear to do so also you have to buy the front jogger wheel.

Its weird i know about the god dam thing but never found out about my door way question lol
