Default Take 2 - Is there a song that you cry to and think about those who have died?

Well I did this Thread in 2006 but thought I would do it again and now again due to the Thread was getting long ,
but here's the link if you would like to read peoples posts

I think of my sister Bronwyn (Bonnie)
she died on the 22/3/1997 ,
she was only 15 years old
she was walking across a road and got hit by a truck
I always think about if she was alive what would her life be like ?
when I hear this song the lyrics are so sad and wonderful.

    Kenny Chesney-Who You'd Be Today

Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
I feel you everywhere I go.
I see your smile, I see your face,
I hear you laughin' in the rain.
    I still can't believe you're gone.

It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell that I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
    An' sometimes I wonder,
    Who'd you be today?

Would you see the world? Would you chase your dreams?
    Settle down with a family,
I wonder what would you name your babies?
Some days the sky's so blue,
I feel like I can talk to you,
An' I know it might sound crazy.

It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell that I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
    An' sometimes I wonder,
    Who you'd be today?

    Today, today, today.
    Today, today, today.

    [Instrumental Break]

Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
The only thing that gives me hope,
Is I know I'll see you again some day.

Some day, some day, some day

Change the world - Eric Clapton

If I could reach the stars I'd pull one down for you
Shine it on my heart so you could see the truth
That this love I have inside is everything it seems
But for now I find it's only in my dreams

    CHORUS:
That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby if I could change the world

If I could be king even for a day
I'd take you as my queen I'd have it no other way
And our love will rule in this kingdom we have made
Till then I'd be a fool wishin' for the day

    CHORUS:
That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby if I could change the world
Baby if I could change the world

    - GUITAR SOLO -

    CHORUS:
That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby if I could change the world
Baby if I could change the world
Baby if I could change the world

"Fields Of Gold" - Eva Cassidy

Makes me cry every time. We had it playing while we signed our marriage certificate but it was also played at my Nan's funeral. My way of having her there with us IYKWIM. Just a beautiful, beautiful song.

Most songs make me cry at the moment damn pregnancy hormones
    But i really love
The Thing About Grief by Clare Bowditch and The Feeding Set
Makes me think of my little brother born sleeping, he would be 21

    The thing about grief is
It knows what I did and
It knows what I did not say.
It sentenced me to a life of excavating
Things my little head can not understand
But I patched it all together with string andn rubber bands.

    The thing about grief is
Few people know that the I goes before the E
And it's hard to give away because it's
The last thing you gave to me.
    I've scrambled it together and
Collaged it in a lighted frame
Sometimes I'm scared to speak your name.

Ooh you were young a beautiful
You should have grown to be old
Like I'll grow old - no you will not.
You left me here to join the dots
    I'm gonna speak them.

    The thing about grief is
It took what I loved and it buried her deep away.
It makes no sense but it's interesting in it's own way.
Some days I still assume I'm gonna see your face again
    But I always assume.

    The thing about grief is
It gets kind've boring for the
    People who don't yet know.
Your friends - some they will wander off and
Most will wish you'd just move on sister.
But black is the colour 'cause it
Doesn't seem to have an end
    I've heard it changes and
    You'll make new friends.

    Oooh - you were young a beau-ti-ful.
You should have grown to be old
I will grow old, no you will not.
You left me here to join the dots.
    I'm gonna speak them.

My friend died suddenly of a brain aneurysm when she was 16 years old. This song was her favourite and was played at her funeral...still makes me so sad when I hear it.
