    Morning girls

The stuffiness in the head is part of pregnancy. TMI about to come, but you also get extra moisture down stairs........ and it gets worse apparantly!

Amum you & I must have the same Ob appointment everytime. I dont see my Ob now until I'm 20 weeks,he is happy with how I'm progressing.Glad you finally got to see bub moving about. I now have 2 pairs of maternity pants & feel huge

I am now in my 2nd trimester WOOHOOT!!!!
My belly is definately out there, but still looks fat not pregnant. It's amazing how your clothes fit & then all of a sudden they don't

Sparkle- I did the EXACT same thing sunday with DH- went to heaps of shops and just got all confused! But I went home with Mrs Field Cookies, not Hersheys lol.
JetGirl- I am freezing too. Especially my feet!! DH (who thinks he is an expert as his ex and him had three pregnancies) says it is because all the hear is being kept around my uturus.. who knows?
Boo- 12 weeks!! OMG I cannot wait to get there! 4 weeks to go for me which is not toooo bad...
lochnessie- Morning!! wow, 2nd trimester woowoo!!!
Pixie- I am not seeing the midwifes who will then give me a list of hospital approved ob's (or I can just see the midwives) till I am 14 weeks! they told me that is the next available appt and I can still just see my normal gp if any issues and he can arrange my 12 week scan as well.

Girls, I also have had headaches.. i never get them so i'm finding them really annoying. And this week- I am SO SO SOOOO tired!!! I have my mon-fri job and then another weekend one and the thought of working this coming weekend makes me want to cry. My FS, before I "graduated" told me it was fine for me to have the second job but MAN, I am tired lol

hopeful I think your DH might be onto something re. the coldness! Know what you mean about the tiredness, I just want to cry every morning when the alarm goes off. I've started giving myself a day off every month to help...

sparkle - My sis has just come back from her hols in the US and she was telling me how cheap a lot of things are over there. She bought so much stuff it was lucky she didn't have a lot in her bag going over.

lochnessie - Yay 2nd trimester! Fantastic!!!

Boo - Congratulations!!! So exciting! Good luck with you scan today

hopeful - oh I have no idea how you do it, that would be so exhausting. I'm so exhausted that I need to have constant breaks from everything... even when I have a shower I usually need to have a rest after it

Sparkles - yay on the pram but I understand not buying anything yet, it's all so overwhelming. Plus I need to work out what I am putting where and if I buy a whole heap of stuff I'll have to play musical baby stuff.

Nat - some days I am exhausted like Sunday when I couldn't keep my eyes open while reading in the afternoon and I just fell asleep on the sofa but other days I feel fine, I guess like m/s it depends on how the body is coping on the day.

Hopeful - you sound like you are taking on a lot! From what I have heard the 2nd trimester you get some of your zing back so maybe it will get easier next month

Meaghan6430 - I overheat easily at the moment too, very unlike me, am normally cold. So I sleep with one leg out of the bed to keep me cool at night.

Boo - I wake with a stuffy nose but it's gone once I get up, luckily.

Lochnessie - on the 2nd trimester, the fun trimester apparently. Enjoy!

I am glad I'm not the only one getting headaches, I used to get them as a teenager a lot but these days I rarely get them. I do get migraines very occasionally but I suspect that these headaches are pregnancy related.

I also had the worst nights sleep. The dog barked all night, I had two nightmares, one I woke up from crying (I cry at the drop of a hat lately) and then I started feeling achy and restless. So I've decided to start making myself go for walks at night with the dog, even if I am tired or unwell to stretch my muscles and help me sleep.

hi girls just a quick one from me til im back from shopping..

its great to see everyone progressing so well in here.. i love seeing how many are in this thread now

afm- ive been down lately... the diabetes is breaking me... i have to be sooo careful what to eat and im still going over with my levels... i cant eat what im craving and after you eat a meal you cant eat for 2 hrs til you check your blood... well im pregnant and hungry so it gets me down!!!

specialist put my insulin up today so ill be able to start eating a bit more now which is good... i had a big cry yesterday and dh made me a bowl of no sugar icecream with low sugar milo and a spoon of peanut butter (sounds wierd but you mix it all together and its like chocolate peanuty thickshake kinda) it was divine!!!! just what i was craving and didnt send me over too bad!!

congrats to those having twins, what a blessing... good luck to you all...

boo- yay 12 weeks today im 16 1/2 weeks... its going faster now..

oh and ive had a bad stuffy nose 1 min then runny the next.. i got a saline nose spray and thats been ok... but sometimes when i blow my nose some blood comes out which is normal but freaky too... and i agree lochnessie.. about the extra downstairs..lol ive had that too

i get bloody gums when i brush my teeth.. and i have to brush like a mad woman cos i get 2/3 way through and i gag like crazy and cant put the tooth brush back in my mouth

toys r us are having a big sale and the change table is 1/2 price and the spring mattresses are only $99 so im off to baby shop today

i hope everyones well and talk soon x x x

oh the baby expo is on in melbourne this weekend.. i cant wait.. is anyone else going?

Nikki- yeah, I hope second trimester I am not soo tired lol. I think mon-fri I am tired-er to be honest.. my job can be really quiet and kinda boring and somedays (like today) i just sit here and yawn.... and I know the other girls I work with are wondering why the hell I am always so tired lol.. Oh well.. about 3.5 weeks and I can tell them why I am so freakin tired, lol.
My weekend job alternates, one weekend its saturday 3pm-9pm and sunday 4pm-9pm and then the next weekend its only the saturday... I am usually in bed by 9:30pmish which for me, is crazy! Before BFP I was a midnight-6am girl.. sometimes later.

I am really glad I am not the only one re cold, especially the cold feet because I was worried bout that one! Oh and Nikki, I have been having STUPID dreams!!! Like last night, I had the baby and it was a boy but when I went to show him to people he was a doll! But not like a baby doll like a bratz doll Then I dreamt I bled and I woke up and wasn't sure if I was or not and I was all upset and confused.. silly!!

    Hiya All.

Nessie: Congrats! Now you can relax. Everytime I read your name I get a pang to return to Scotland! Especially at the moment with Melbourne being so dreary and wet and the last time we were at Fort William (last year) it was a beautiful 28 degrees. Aaaaah I'm there.

Boo: Yay for 12 weeks! I'm envious. Can't wait to get to that point.

Meaghan: I'd love to say I'm with you on the cold thing, but I'm always cold. I'm known to be wearing jeans and skivvy in summer and have my electric blanket on 3 during January (but not at all now which kills me). I'd like to say it is because I'm a native Queenslander but I think I just have no blood.

Sarbear: Where's the baby expo? I haven't seen it advertised! Jeff's Shed? It's not one of those expos that they advertise on tv with the screaming voice is it?

Hopeful: 14 weeks! That's ages! I think perhaps I'll see my GP whilst I wait for a little reassurance. I just got my 'information pack' from my OB this morning and now I'm confused as to whether I should go public or private.

Anyway guys, have a good one.
