WIFEY- Firstly, congrats on making it this far! Now, the good news! I had 15 eggs retrived this cycle, only 2 were mature the day of pickup and 6 were left a further hour to mature before they decided to inject them for icsi or not. Luckily they did mature but the thing is only 1 made it all the way to day 5 blasto (another 2 did to but were not strong enough or "good" enough to freeze on day 5).

I had 1 blasto transferred and just got my BFP on Friday!

My first cycle also went about the same way and he is now my beautiful son. So when people say it only takes one beautiful embie...ITS VERY TRUE IN MY CASE!

Good luck and it only takes one

Thanks Mrs Mermaid. I agree we should take all the extra measure just to make sure our precious embie will be able to stick inside the womb.

Wifey - firstly congrats. 4 embies is actually not a bad result.

Just on the aspirin - talk to your clinic before taking it. Its not appropriate for everyone.

The biggest thing is - try not to stress

    Best of luck.

    Hi Everyone and Wifey,

I had 17 eggs collected, only 6 were inseminated and 4 went to blast. We transferred 2 and are now 31.5 weeks pregnant with twins. It does happen!!!

    - I was on low dose aspirin from day 1 of my period upon the advise of my doctor and am still on it.

    - I insisted on progesterone support till 13 weeks of pregnancy

    - I did acupunture and cut out caffeine completely till 20 weeks of pregnancy.

    - I was on flights 2 days after transfer and was running around as usual. I did rest the day of the transfer though.

I am sending you the best of luck and speedy BFP.
