Our DS started doing the "injured commando crawl" at 3 months!! It was madness! At 5 months, he was crawling fast up on his knees and pulling himself up. I'm envious of those who had a few months of little babies who lay there and took in the world. I didn't get much time to get used to being a mum before he took off! He's 10 months now and still not walking though, so I'm happy about that. He has mastered stairs, however... but that's a whole other story!

At 4.5 months, DD2 rolls from back to front & always ends up on her sister head

DS can do the tummy & back wiggle when he REALLY feels like, would much rather sit in his rocker & laugh at his sisters.

DD1 can almost get to her tummy but there has the be something she wants just out of reach for her to give it a go. Also gets her bum in the air & fists ready to crawl, she's trying so hard & gets super cranky that she cant get any where.

DD2 rolled at 3 months, crawled at 6 months and walked at 9 months (she was so tiny)

DD3 rolled at 3 months, crawled at 10 months and walked at 16 months

    every child is different

5 months. That was also when she started standing and cruising. Up and down stairs on her own a few weeks after that.

She didn't walk until 13 months though - I think she was too good at crawling by then to want to make a change!

It all evens out in the end. I'd actually sometimes have preferred a baby that crawled in more `normal' time frames. When they're THAT little they have absolutely no sense of danger whatsoever, and it's very exhausting to have them mobile that young.

DS rolled at 4 months, commando crawled at 5 months, crawled at 6.5 months and then didn't start walking until 16.5 months!

DD started rolling at 3 months for 1 week and then stopped. She is now 9 months and started rolling again a few weeks ago. She is just over 13kgs though. So she is a big rolly polly baby

    hi there!

ds never really crawled!!!! he kinda pushed himself around on his knees and face for about 3 weeks at 9 months and then walked at 10 months. he did start pulling himself up, cruising and walking with us holding his hands at just over 7 months.

dd starting moving around by wriggling and shuffling at 5 ish months, rolling at 6 months and proper crawling at 7 months 2 days she doesnt cruise yet tho

all babies are different! It doesnt mean anything if they do things earlier or later- theyll get there at some point
