My little man just turned 4 months and is rolling around everywhere and manages to push his bum up and wiggle around from a to b but no crawling yet. Everyone keeps saying he will be crawling soon, but we will wait and see. He hated tummy time when he was younger but now that he is rolling, he actually prefers to be on his tummy.

DD crawled at 10 months and then started knee walking at 12 months. She didn't walk properly until she was 18 months. She is now 2 and runs everywhere.

DS started crawling around 7months I think or just over 7, its only been a few weeks anyway and he is 8 months in a few days.

Looking at my plunket book I didn't crawl til 9 months but was walking at 10.5! DS isn't showing any signs of wanting to walk

DD started getting from A-B by rolling, shuffling, pulling and dragging (and a funny backwards catterpiller type movement on her back) from about 4.5 months but only properly crawled at just under 6 months (if you call what she does "proper"- one knee and one foot lol)

now at 7.5 months she is getting around so fast and has already started pulling herself up on furniture and cruising- its all happend too fast for poor mummy- i'm wondering if i can delay her walking by pulling her down every time she tries to step (- just jokes obviously, i just wish she could be my baby forever!)

DD started bum-shuffling at bout 6.5months (kinda sitting, then onto all 4s, then turning and putting her bum down somewhere else LOL, weird, but effective).
    Crawling properly by 8.5months.
    Cruising furniture at 9months.
Still not walking at 13months - but she doesnt need to! She can get everything she wants by crawling and standing up on something. Plus she wont stand still long enough to learn to balance!! LOL

DD is "Dear Daughter" and DS is "Dear Son"

My DD did the backwards thing for ages and finally did the all fours crawl at 9 months (didn't comando crawl at all) and walked at 14 months

DS on the other hand rolled at 3 months started doing an inch worm creep soon after, has been comando crawling since about 5 months and now at 7 months has just started doing the hands and knees "proper" crawling in the last few weeks (and has been using it consistently the past few days) he still does a lot of the comando crawl that has a sort of iceskating thing after his arm pull knee forwards bit (he skids on the tiles)
He is also pulling up and crawled up 2 stairs about a week ago and takes many steps if someone is holding his hands and a couple along furniture or people
