My 25 weeker was in for 101 days (3 days before EDD)
My 28 weeker was in for 63 days (discharged at 37 weeks)
My 35 weeker was in for 6 days
My 36 weeker was in for 10 days...but he was born with pneumonia so was in for complications from that.

Awesome that you got a little hold TB...hopefully it won't be long for a cuddle.
I waited 3 weeks before I got my first hold of my 25 weeker...it seemed like an eternity.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

I was curious to find out others time frames as we really don't have 1 atm. But hopefully won't be long if she keeps doing well.

Can't believe my girl will be a week old tomorrow already. The days are just blending one into the next atm.

We were always told, not to expect them home before their due date. If they did come home before than it was a bonus.

I do know they couldnt come home before 35 weeks cause thats when monitors could go unless there was problems.

TrulyBlessed, we were told to aim for due date too if DS1 came home before then it was a huge bonus. He came home at 36 weeks gestation weighing 2.09kg
DS2 was only expected to be in SCN for 2-3 weeks for his gestation and size (34+3wks 3.09kg born)

Hi! i hope you don't mind if i join you!

I have twin boys born 10 weeks ago at 25+6weeks. Tomorrow they will be 36 weeks corrected. They have been in hospital for 70 days so far, and they moved out of NICU to special care last week, both together which is great. The older baby (3mins older!!) born at 780g has never been intubated, went straight onto cpap and came off for good about 3weeks ago, no oxygen required. He is breastfeeding 2 feeds a day with topups thru NG tube, and is a little trooper! He is now a chubby 2.7kg
My younger bub was intubated his first night only then onto cpap, and has been on cpap except when intubated at 3 weeks for 3 nights with sepsis, but back onto cpap and came off 2 weeks ago onto low flow oxygen. He is a bit more fragile of the 2, and is on 1-2 breastfeeds per day, with topups. He is lovely, and 2.6kg with the hugest cheeks ever!

TrulyBlessed, your baby olivia sounds amazing. The days still blend together for me, but seriously the time is going so fast, i can't believe it. I can't believe i have been going into the hospital every day for 70 days (plus was a patient for 2 weeks before that!!) Haven't really seen the sun since May!! There are major ups and downs, and just when i think i have a handle on things something will happen and the floodgates will open and i will be a teary mess again!! How i feel generally depends on how my babies are doing!
I know what you mean about staying up to express too!! I am due to express again at around 10pm then up at 2!

Just thought i would join you all, it is great to read about others who have been through something similar!

Just a question, has anyone successfully breastfed premmie twins?
