Don't mind at all. More than welcome Lovely.

Think we're all home from hospital. But still vividly remember what it was like being there, as much as sometimes I'd like to forget.

    Yay for being on CPAP.

Congratulations TrulyBlessed! And woohoo for CPAP already that's just fantastic news!! I hope she continues on the up and up

My two are home now, DS1 was born 30+1wks and is now 3.5yrs and DS2 was born 34+3wks now 14.5 months. We do have ongoing issues, but nothing compared to the scary times when we nearly lost DS1.

Hi Truly blessed and congrats again on the birth of Olivia.
Wow on CPAP already and 3 hour feeds! She is doing well. Have you had cuddles yet of your gorgeous girl?
My last little man was born at 25 weeks in Jan this year. He spent 15 weeks in hospital he was on the vent for 3 weeks.

I hope little Olivia continues to power ahead.

No cuddles here yet. As she has the artery line still in the umbilical cord. They said as soon as that's out I'd be able to have cuddles.

Got to help with her first bath (sponge) last night & was able to hold her while the nurse changed the bedding. The feeling I had while holding her was amazing. So I'm really looking forward to the cuddles.

How long was everyone else in hospital for?

Welcome Truly Blessed and Congratulations on the birth of Olivia, such a pretty name. My son was born at 27+3 and was in Hospital 87 days, he came home the day before his EDD.He has been home 3 months now. It is a roller coaster but hang in there and come and chat to us when ever you need as I dont think anyone knows what its like to go through the NICU journey unless they have been there.

As the others said thats great she is off cpap it sounds like she is a strong little girl!

DD1 (29 weeker) was in 8 weeks and DD2 (35 weeker) was only in 7 days

Thats great that you got the little hold

It was 5 or 6 days before I got my first hold, just when she came off cpap.
