Both DP and I travel 45mins to 1 hour each way, so 2 hours a day spent travelling.

    Hate it.

If I didn't have to take DS to daycare, probably 5min. But I drive right past work to get to DS daycare but I can still do it in about 20min.

    DP- depending on the day.

M & Th- he goes in by car because he has tafe. It takes approx 1hr 45min in, and 1.5hr home (late at night).

Tu, W & F- he goes in by train. So, travel 5min to train station and than 1.5hr in and than same back.

It really sucks but he chose a career/job that is only available in the major cities and we can't afford to live closer at the moment. We're hoping that when we buy- we'll be able to buy somewhere more worth it all. Either closer to the city or nicer location- maybe central coast.

We drive about 10 minutes to work, we're lucky we both work in the same place so if we are on the same shift, we can save fuel and take one car.

I'm not working atm, but OH has a 25 minute drive to work - and usually I'm the one driving him there as we haven't got a second car yet, fun!

I've always wanted to do that! I reckon OH would drink us out of business though
