Default Swine flu vax for kids

I read in the news that the swine flu vax is ready to be rolled out but will not be available for children until November. (I think this is because they want to do more testing.

Will you be getting yourself and/or your kds vaxxed against swine flu??

    Why or why not??

I won't, but if we were to ttc anytime soon i would. I don't think its too much of a threat to perfectly healthy ppl in their 20's that aren't around pregnant women or kids much/at all.

Maybe if it was free i would? hehe

You should put a poll in

Well I am due with bub in november so yes I would want to get all of us done to protect ds as much as possible. (not actually getting him vaxed just the rest of us to minimise the risk of us catching it and giving it to him)

I always flu vax because I have a chronic lung condition. I probably won't specifically vax against swine flu though as I feel it was thrown together a little too quickly and hasn't been fully tested (they're even now still doing the research and trialling it on people to see the side effects).

I won't vax my children against it for the same reason.

Nope not getting it. The fact that they have stopped testing ppl for swine flu even if they have the symptoms is reason enough for me NOT to vax against it. My doctor told me (and i've read in the paper) that they think that the majority of the population has caught it already and it just wasnt as bad an epidemic as they thought it would be. Its beyond me why they think we need yet ANOTHER vax to add to the already huge schedule

No way! Not in a million years, there is no where near enough testing for this one and the adult one.

If you are going to get it and the adult one you can more or less say that you are trialling it.

no way I am letting that thing anywhere near my family! Way too freaky! For similar reasons as above, it is too new.
