I love that if she hurts herself, or isn't well it all goes away with some boobie.

I love that it's time that only her & I can enjoy.

I love that drunk look she used to have when she was smaller witha belly full of milk.

I love the smiles I get.

I love the way she looks in my eyes, then drifts off to sleep just staring into my eyes.

TBH there's not much to hate about breastfeeding. I love it.

I just came across this thread when searching for something. So glad I found it. I am still struggling a little with breastfeeding but this makes me think about all the positives I have experienced so far, plus a whole lot still to come.

oh this thread got me so excited. I can't wait to feed my little bubba!!!

I remember with DD one of my fav things was the eye contact while she was feeding. we could stare into each others eyes for hours or until she fell asleep! hehe

I too had a stomach bug that really knocked me over and also was relieved when my lil guy didn't catch it. Couldn't help but thinking that maybe the antibodies in my milk also gave him protection as well as nourishment and comfort

I know it's an old thread but:

I love his big blue eyes looking up at me
I love that he puts his hand on my face when feeding
I love the half smile whilst feeding when he is being cheeky
I love that he is comforted every time by me
I love feeding him, but he is self weaning he is only 7.5 mo

It still amazes me that my body grew and is feeding my DD. Mother nature at its finest!

I love the closeness while BF, it just feels so right
