JetGirl - I was eating prunes but I think I might need to consider drinking a glass of metamucil in the mornings if constipation is going to cause me this much grief! It really had me scared yesterday and kept me up half the night in pain. The doctor was telling me what a sensitive organ the bowel is and when it gets upset it can cause a lot of pain. I was happy to see heartbeat today though, I was getting really edgy yesterday.

Wishing - I read somewhere that our anxiety levels will be higher right up until our child is about 3 months old (after birth) then they even out to be on parr with other mothers. Still a little bit of stress to go then... mmmm

Waiting - hopefully your levels are nice and high today and it's full steam ahead for you, I have everything crossed because you so deserve this.

AFM - I have my wedding anniversary dinner in two weeks and I thought I might get my hair done beforehand. My hair is getting too long to manage and the way I feel lately I just don't have the energy but I'm not sure I should steer clear of dying it until 12 weeks is up?

    Morning girls

BK - Oh hun i am so happy for you, i totally understand about being a wreck, i burst into tears as soon as my FS called my name to have the scan done..........you must feel so relieved.

Wishing - Stay away from any shell fish, i would stick to fish and calamari, enjoy though.

Jetg - I read in one of my pregnancy books the other day that it is ok to have your hair coloured. I must admit though i didn't do mine till after i had my scan.......but it is safe.

Nikki - You poor girl, it must be horrible, are you eating brown bread, that really helps.

Nessie - Oh how exciting, you have been out shopping, i can't wait to get some more, not that i need that much but the baby clothes are just so cute aren't they.........

Hi to everyone else, just a quick one, i'm at work being sneeky

Nikki I don't think there is a definitive answer. I checked with Dr. Google:

Thanks Amum I'm very tempted to get foils... It just makes you feel so good about yourself and that has to be good for the baby right?!!

i just read a thing on baby centre web site and it said if you can wait till the 2nd trimester to dye your hair it would be better for the growing baby and if you want to do something better off streaking or foils not your whole head

I've just booked an appointment for a haircut and I think I will wait for a colour until next trimester. My hairdresser uses very low chemical colours anyway but just to be sure, plus the smell will probably make me gag anyway at the moment. I might see my natural hair colour before then!

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I've been a little scared. I'm 10 weeks today and all of my symptoms have been gone for about 4 days now. I've been a little worried so I'm off to see the OB in about 10 mins .

BK - Good luck with you scan today!

Hope every one else is doing well
