Lochnessie - I'm still 2 weeks from my first scan so I am lying low ATM, I don't really feel very different yet. The clinic asked me today if I had morning sickness yet, but I'm only five weeks (as of yesterday) so I'm not really sure it's going to show yet. None of my family suffered from m/s either but that doesn't mean I won't be a first! The heartburn is really hurting some days though, I suffer from it as it is, but these days it's a constant companion!

DH is fussing over me, anything I want I get at the moment! He is even cooking dinner or lunch if I am too tired and he doesn't get upset if I get snappy. I think he is just so happy it happened he's happy to do whatever he feels he can!

It's true only about 50% of women suffer from m/s but you see in on TV so much you just expect to feel queasy as soon as two lines show up. I think for most people the queasiness doesn't start until week 6-8 at least that's what I have witnessed with all of my friends. Some suffered really badly later on, some just a few days and it was over.

Thanks Nikki my last pregnancy I was 705 hcg on the same day (twins) so not sure how related Hcg and morning sickness is... maybe just this time around this is what I am getting.

deesse - good luck tomorrow, I don't know if m/s is hereditary but I do notice that people whose mum's or sisters suffered are likely to suffer as well.

spot - I'm not sure what causes m/s but when I was on my medicated FET it was the estrogen that made me feel queasy. So maybe that's it?
