    around 6months for both my girls

    I don't think DS ever did, until he went on to a sippy cup.

    DD1 was about 8/9 months I think.

    DD2 is 10 months and still not interested in holding it to drink, but will happily hold it to play with.

    Some babies just don't do it ever.

    My DS is 9 months and has just started holding it properly in the last few weeks..

    At 6 months. I was heart broken. I LOVE feeding bub myself, but she just down right refused to let me hold the bottle anymore.

    My little man was holding his own bottles on & off from 4months. It was heartbreaking to have such an independant son who whizzed through the baby stage...

    I can't remember exactly but he was really young. I think at 3 or 4 months he was able to hold it for short periods. By six months he was an expert. By 9 months he could do it one handed.

    My DS1 was only about 4 months
    DS3 was about 6 months
    DD1 was just over 9 months
    So i think it really depends on the baby

    Never! She refuses to hold it herself. I love the cuddles anyway
