Default Do you fear a terrorist attack occurring in Australia

    http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sto...65-661,00.html

The above story is just one of many. We don't hear about every suspect that is apprehended, so is it inevitable that we will be attacked in the near future? Does it worry you?

It doesn't make me overly anxious, no.

Climate change and swine flu make me more anxious.

Is this where I should be using the 'rolly eye' icon? Just because there has never been one, doesn't mean there will never be one!

I don't live in fear either...I was just wondering if other people were worried?

Ugh....you know what...I will just get this thread deleted.

I'm sure that people in NYcity used to say that too,.. what's the difference? I live 4kms from the centre of Sydney,.and use the Harbour Bridge,.Anzac Bridge,.main roads in the city every day! If it can happen in NY then why not here? I for one will be happy when my children are not travelling through the city every day.

im not worried. never have been and never will be.

i've got more chance of being bitten by a shark...and i dont often go swimming!

i figure that there is really no point worrying about something i have absolutely no control over.

the media beats it up into something more then it really is. unfortunatly it gets rateings and sells newspapers. then comes the fear. then the racism. its just one big cycle of fear and hate that achieves nothing.
