MK, loving your relaxed approach to K and her sleeping. I'm sure it makes things easier & less stressful.

X's mum X really did have a tough start didn't he. Hope he get completely better soon.

Sorry, that's all I can remember...

AFU, everything's going really well here. Still TTC, but we're only on our 3rd cycle, so not getting to impatient just yet.
W is good. 15 weeks now! Complete normal blood flow through her left valve now, and only the 2mm hole left, which is just excellent.
Still booby feeding every so often. She prefer's the bottle, but she's lazy...I figure whatever I can get her to take from me is better than nothing!

It's Velina's due date today. And no one has remembered. Not even DH. Well...if he has he hasn't said anything. Breaks my heart...

Lytte - It's hard when people forget something so significant to you. I know you will probably be sad today but I do hope the pain is easing a little for you.

Yes I am finding that being relaxed about it eases the stress. If I have no expectations I cannot be disappointed. I used to get so frustrated with my first baby because I expected that at 3 months he would sleep through and he didn't. Then at 6 months I felt even more hopeless when everyone else's babies slept through and mine didn't. This time I know that she will sleep when she needs to. I try and enjoy the cuddling at night because I know it wont last forever. It's hard for me to be affectionate with the older kids so I'm trying my best to not be so cold. I don't know why I'm not. I like to give them their personal space but can't seem to pick up cues for when they do need a hug. Yesterday DS2 bumped his head. And instead of cuddling him I asked if he was alright. I felt very guilty afterwards because I picked up later that he could have used one. Sometimes I feel like I suck at being a nurturing mother but I do try my best to find the balance.

Anyway - that's my little rant for the day.
Best get some laundry folded before I have to pick up the baby from daycare.

    hi lovelies..
glad to hear everyone is going well..despite the run of winter colds going around. As most of you would know G got quite sick there a few weeks back..she had the vommit/poo bug...totally went off feeding and eating for close to a week she lost alot of weight, got dehydrated and pretty much spewed and poo'd all the time So glad all that is over - she picked up quite well and is now back to her old cheeky self again. Shes 9 months now and chatting away madly - mum, bub, dad and up are her fav's atm. Shes also taken to blowing spit bubbles haha its quite funny (and gross) to watch - she can get them quite big lol. Umm what else...starting to try and think about what we are going to do for her first birthday coming up..not too sure atm tho.
Im on a break from uni atm...exams over (thank goodness) and assessments are in!! im doing pretty good so far - for my midwifery assignments ive received 2 credits and im still awaiting results on another subjects assignment...exams i have no idea on atm but wont get the results from those until 9th july...so its going to be a loooong with until then.
LYTTE - so happy for you relactating! good on you...wish i could have gone back to it but left it wayy too long. Best of luck TTC again...cant wait to hear the upcoming news!! Miss W is just gorgeous - i follow your pics of her on FB, she looks soo much like K!

Xmum - SOOOOO happy that lil X is doing so well. Hope the coughing settles soon tho!

Eco - B is just sooo cute!! G has a great lil temper too sometimes lol

Izy - hope the humifyer helps X...they are great, we use it for G too.

big hellos to everyone else...lots of hugs to you all xx

    Hi ladies,

Has anyone had any experience of using the 'Contented Little Baby' routines by Gina Ford? I'm trying them with Zena and wanted to know if anyone had joy with them ?

Would love to hear from you,

    Thanks !!

Welcome and Congratulations Una. Zena is a beautiful name. I have not heard of the book you're referring to. Please let us know how you go with it.

MrsShe I hope your results are finally in and you're happy with them.

AFU - Kiara is walking as of yesterday. I'm so proud of her. She'll be 10 months next week and I'm freaking out that I haven't even organised her 1st Birthday. I better get those invitations out.

I hope everyone and their babies are doing well. Talk soon. xo

Hi Mumakoala - a friend of mine got me onto the book after she got her 8 week old to sleep through the night. I myst say I liked the idea of that!

MrsShe - I hope you got your results back and they are good!

AFU - Zena had not been a happy bunny of late, screaming her lungs out after of feeds and being very unhappy each time we put her down, oh and mountains of really smelly puke. Finally went to the doctors and she confirmed it was reflex (I had a feeling it was but nice to get it confirmed).

Zena's now on medication and she is like a different baby! And sleeping! Yaya, no more 2 hours of fighting after the 2 am feed!

Anyway got to go someone had a smelly bum and it's not DH for once!

    Take care

    Úna xoxo

Welcome Una, I am glad your bubs is doing well on the meds. Jaime had reflux and was on thickener which helped, she still has the thickener mixed in her formula but less of it now.

MK - Frightening that miss K is walking..... I had to buy a playpen for J to keep her confined so I could clean. She is crawling and stands up against the sofa and window sills so she's active too. Hope the birthday plans go well.

Big Hugs and kisses to all the mummy's and bubs... DH is away with work until Friday so I have the monster on my own...aggggghhhh.

    Hi Ladies,
I have a question for those that have had a pregnancy after a miscarriage.

Ive got 5kids and want one more to complete my family but sadly i mc back in feb, it took me 6months to fall im 37yo. This is my first mc and from what i have been reading it doesnt usually take that long to fall again(suppose to be more fertile)......so far this is my 6month after my mc.

So my question is how long did it take to fall pregnant again after your mc.

    Any comments would be helpfull.
    Thanks Kez
