    Hi Rachelbrisbane,

i very sorry to hear that. Just out of curiosity do you have any major problem.

I ask that because i have had pelvic inflammorty disease when i was younger.

I do understand how you feel, me about to start 3 cycle only have got 6 eggs, only have ever had 1 to transfer, and none to freeze so have to do the entire procedure again.

The only thing I would suggest is seeing a naturopath, acupunturist and a dietatian. It could only help.

Try and stay positive I know itis very hard.

    thinking of you

Rachaelbrisbane - I understand how frustrated you must be feeling. Does your FS have any suggestions??? Another way of looking at it is not the number of cycles you have had but the number of embyros you have transferred. My FS told me that it takes on average 6-10 embryos before a BFP and it isn't until 14 that your chances have significantly decreased.
    - Have you tried different types of cycles??
    - Have you tried dhea???

Maybe you need to seek a 2nd opinion. Don't give up!!!!!

    Hi Rachael,

These are for you chicky I know how you feel.

Why don't you pop over to the 'Over 35s' thread or to the 'Brissy' thread. There are unfortunately lots of us who have been through many cycles too, but the girls on these threads are amazing & the most wonderful, supportive friends.

    C xx

Rachael - My advice is keep going. I have just done my 8th cycle, transfer today......my mantra is I refuse to let it beat me. IVF is a process of elimination so i guess you have to decide if you want to keep going or not, i know how hard it is, god i've been on this road for 5 years. If you have a great FS and trust that person then that makes the journey that much easier.
I wish you the best of luck and hope you get your BFP soon

So much is invested in each cycle, a BFN never gets easier. Each time I felt like I might not ever fully recover - but I did. Thank God I did keep trying, because eventually it worked and it is absolutely worth all the cr@p...

Some of the things you can look into are
    - Low dose aspirin (I swear by it)
    - Sharkey's healing centre ("The Baby Makers")
    - Acupuncture / Chinese herbs
    - Luveris or its substitute (to improve egg quality)

Try to focus on the prize at the end of this ride - it is worth it!

Hi there, I did 5 cycles of IVF and 6 cycles of clomid! I decided after 2 m/c and NO answers to swap clinics! They have found a further problem, a sub septate uterus, so now that its fixed i am hoping to start up again. But so many cycles is so hard to deal with. Just do whats right for you and your family.
