Default Gave birth 2 weeks ago - chance of pregnancy

I had my son nearly 3 weeks ago, I have since had unprotected sex using the withdraw method. I know it doesn't always work. What is the chance of being pregnant already?

It's happened before... I don't know what the chance would be but there would be a possibility.

Not sure about 3 weeks after, but I fell pregnant 21 weeks (3 months) after I gave birth and I thought that was too soon!

Its possible but unlikely. If your breast feeding you have 'some' protection but don't rely on that alone.
If your AF hasn't returned yet its a very slim possibility.
Maybe do a test just in case.

Your body doesn't start to return to normal until usually between 4 and 6 wks after birth, basically until you get a period, and also if you are breastfeeding then pregnancy will take longer, I became pregnant 7wks after giving birth by caesar, my boys are only 10 mths apart.

Yes you can get pregnant this way. I have. Twice.

You need to be being MUCH more careful. It is too soon for you to get pregnant and it will definite, long-lasting adverse effects on your body if you get pregnant this early. I think this is the main reason doctors recommend waiting six weeks until after the birth, including the heightened risk of infection etc etc. Which is another reason you should be using protection (i.e. condoms).

Yep it's possible, my friend fell pregnant that soon after her first baby. Unfortunately though she miscarried, and the doc suggested it was because her body just wasn't ready for it.

Sorry if this is a personal question, but didn't it hurt to have sex so soon?? I'm always astounded when I hear about people having penetrative sex within a few weeks of giving birth...
