Can anyone tell me it the Rainbow BB would fit a greenkids hour glass insert? Or if there is any difference between the R BB and the GK cover size wise as I am after something to fit a newborn until they grow into the GK.

I've been using MCN's for about a month now on my 11-week old son, so I'm hardly a long time user but I have got 10 Babyland MCN's that I'm happy to comment on.

I bought off Alibaba and they worked out about $3.60 each incl. postage, so I didn't have much to lose. They're definitely a lot thinner and less 'sturdy' feeling than my BBH's and 'other' China Cheapies (i.e. $10 moo-cow print minky) but they do the job. They do wet through the legs after 2 hours or so, but so do all my others unless they're stuffed to the gills with bamboo (I use BBH overnight with 4x bamboo layers and rarely get wet-throughs).

They're quite trim under clothes and came with 1 terry-towel insert. The outers make perfect swim nappies too. No poo has yet escaped the confines.

All in all, 10 for $36 meant I couldn't go too wrong. They've been well worth their money so far, and even if they don't last as long as my more expensive nappies they've served their function as stash-bulkers until I acquire more of the premiums (I only buy on sale ).

I have been using these "cheapies" for about a week now with no problems. I paid $40 for 10 nappies and 12 microfiber inserts. I bought these initially just to see if I could do the MCN thing, and so far I have no need to spend $30 on one nappy. I have read so many posts on leaky nappies and even the most expensive ones leak. That's my opinion so far, anyway.
