    Wocket i remember the mango season when we lived in the NT when i was younger.

    We would have mangos galare. Full boxes for only $10!!!

    Mum and Dad weren't home until after 7 most nights so we used to scavenge in the fridge and pantry. Oh, the feasts we used to have! Mum used to freeze the Snickers and Mars Bars so we couldn't eat them, but we loved a frozen snack! We also learned to cook toasted sandwiches, chicken nuggets and fish fingers at a very early age!

    Yum! I think my kids might be deprived at having a SAHM!

    raw veg - cabbage, peas, beans, carrots etc

    I can remember that once my mum's business partner gave me an apple sandwich.

    I loved the veg though, still do. If I could be bothered to do the prep more often I wouldn't have the weight issues that I do today

    Of of my favs was baked potato with fresh herbs and sour cream.
    Mum almost always had one baking in the oven when I got home from school.
