Thank you lovely ladies... they expected me to m/c two nights ago as my cervix was really open... and I am still waiting... is this normal? Starting to wonder if they got it wrong, maybe I had a twin?? Probably just wishful thinking...

    Sick of waiting... such torture!

If I haven't gone natural by Sunday arve, I will travel to Mackay 3ish hours away as I have a curette booked for Monday morning...

Hi ladies, sorry that you've come to this place.
Pip, no too sure Hun. How have things been since?
Sheree, hope things hold off so u don't need to go through that. I would be absolutely hysterical and know that I couldnt go through it naturally.
I found out on a Friday too and the random obstetrician I saw that afternoon said Saturday or Sunday. Thankfully, I was at the hospital by 5am Saturday so nothing had the chance to happen naturally.
You sure there's not any ob who will do it tomorrow?
If not, I am praying for you that nature holds on a little longer for you.
The whole emotional side of this is devastating, let alone physically seeing it happen too.
I was bad enough on my first period after and have just got my second and I'm not much better.... Constant reminders
    Thinking off you all
Hopeful, I can't imagine what u went through hun, nor do I Want to

Off roadtripping this afternoon - 3 hours, to have my curette in the morning... I am hoping my body holds out until then... discharge seems to be getting heavier, I have a real heavy sensation in my lower abdomen...

I just feel that everytime I have had a curette I have had a successful pregnancy after it

    Ie:
    m/c and currette
    first born son
    m/c and currette
    2nd born son
    m/c

Well that just had to of been the worst night of my life....

Call me a wouse... but from the 3hour bumpy ride into town it appeared my body wasn't going to last until the next morning (my schedule currett). I started m/c'ing at 6.30pm last night right after arrving in Mackay and in a motel room with 2 little boys with lots of energy, I was not handling it too well.... the pain was so bad that my DP rang the hospital and they wanted me to come in....

The bleeding (gushes and clots) and cramps were so painful... I wasn't sure what the hospital could do but I was glad my DP talked me into going as the pain relief they gave didn't completly take away the pain but took off the edge and at least I got a little bit of sleep... Initially they gave me some pethadine in the bottom, which was an amazing relief and I got a couple of hours rest as I was still in considerable pain, but felt very dozey.

Then at 3am, I finally passed 4 to 5 golf ball size clots and the featus.... I was still cramping over in pain and then the gave me a hot water bottle and some panaedeine forte and I finally slept from 4am to 6am and woke up with barely any pain...

My gyno came in at 8am and did a quick scan and confirmed that I had almost passed everything but still had alot of soft tissue that was left behind...

I then had a currette at 11.30am and was on the road home (3 hour drive) by 2pm...

I am just so relieved it is now all over..

Thanks for all of your support and well wishes.... I was able to guage what to expect from all of the information give, so thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

    Sheree
    xo
