I would be more inclined than "I had hyperemesis/nasty morning sickness/no morning sickness but no GD" to find out who had GD and then who had nasty MS... It would be interesting to find out...

I have no idea but fwiw both pregnancies I never really had morning sickness, and neither time I got GD despite risk factors (multiple birth, overweight etc etc).

I had bad MS and now have GD. But I don't see how they can be related because GD is brought on by a change in hormone levels around 26 weeks. I'm pretty sure its not possible to have GD early in pg (when you get MS).

Also.... MS seems to be worse if you let your blood sugar levels get too low (vicious circle... can't eat, blood sugar drops, more sickness, can't eat... etc), but GD causes blood sugar levels to be high.

So they're kind of opposites really.

Still, would be interesting to collect some stats!
