Angry Wiggles vs Our Bones song...

I Looked it up and it is a newer version that some people wrote called "dry bones" its not the original "Dem/Them Bones" from when we were younger and were using it to learn the bones in our body... It was rewritten to be more religious so put a more "family oriented spin" on the song... Which I guess is fine for the masses but I am not a Christian and although I leave my son the freedom to choose his faith I don't like tv making it seem like he has to believe in anything specific just because they say so... And at the age of the wiggles fan base thats the way the kids take it....
Why do they insists on rewriting things just to include/enforce religion...?
Its like telling my son that because I don't believe in that I'm a bad person or I'm weird

I think you'll find the religious version is the original. It's African-American spiritual music. I'm not religious but I have no problem with them choosing the original version of the song.

Kids get exposed to worse things than spiritual music; if it's a hot topic in your house then you could use it as an opportunity to talk to them and explain your beliefs.

Its on their nursery rhyme DVD. A lot of them are politically incorrect on that one! They're just singing old songs from back in the day, I never took it as THEM being religious.

They are artists and they are their own ppl.
What wrong with then talking about god? That is their beliefs and really it would be like picking up another artists lyrics and saying why are they talking about god?
Just because they are the wiggles and are aimed at kids their shouldn't be a difference.
    Maybe you should thank them!

Anthony's son is anaphylactic to peanuts, I think they are just making people more aware.
Eta - I just googled, Anthony has become a spokesperson for Anaphylaxis Australia and his son has had severe reactions to peanuts.

Singing religious songs is a nonissue to me IF they are singing about more than one religion, which they are.

I would take exception to a religious or political agenda though. The wiggles are more than entertainment, they are children's entertainment and development. It's why they have been so successful.

Pushing an agenda, even religious would cheapen them in my eyes.
