    Default when to seek help?

Hi Gabriela , just wanted your advice on when to seek help , I have had 5 pregnancies , 3 resulting in miscarriage. With my 2 healthy pregnancies I fell very quickly , now it has been almost a year of trying to concieve. My husband has had a sperm check & he is healthy , I have had an internal ultrasound & that was normal and I know I ovulate , when would I seek out things like accupuncture?I have spoken to my doctors & they're not concerned at the moment.

    regards

    Hi Vajay,

    Thank you for your question.

Most of the patients I see in my clinic are in similar situations to you. Given the fact you´ve already have 2 children and everything went well from what you say it´s understandable your doctors are not concerned because mostly from their perspective you´ve already had children and either things more likely to happen despite your medical history; and/or if things don´t quite work out ´you already have kids´.

Given your post here however, it does sound to me that you would really like to have another baby and obviously you have definitely been trying, what I would suggest is that you seek another medical opinion at this point to further ascertain whether any changes have accured for you.

In addition health optimisation through preconception health care to boost you natural fertility and increase your chances of creating the healthiest possible baby would be my number one suggestion.

You may like to subscribe to my Natural Fertility Booster newsletter, which gives lots of information to prospective parents on increasing the odds of creating a healthy baby. You will find the details on my website. Also on my site (in the blog section) you will find lots of articles which may assist you.

    I hope this helps.
