    I completed my Diploma of Community Services (Child care) in 1997 did this 2 years fulltime at NMIT Oreston Campus. Also have Advance Diploma in Children's Services which i did in 2005 also have Certificate in Workplace Training and Assessment (where i can teach students the advance, diploma and cert 3 courses). Also currently completing Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) which will be finished at the end of 2010 and then plan to do Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary Teaching). Very busy i have been. If anyone has any questions or help i am willing to help.

    i can answer only for me.

    i do it online through QLD tafe.

    i pay as i go. and i can take up to 6months to complete it. so if i sign up to one. i can take 6months. then sign up to another one or 2 and take another 6months. and they range up to $150 i think for a cert 3 module.

    plus i can take my sweet time at home with 2 kids

    is anyone still here?

    im writing up my 2nd lot... still.

    also im receiving my student blue card in the mail next week.

    so hopefully i have my 2nd lot of assignments all printed and ready to go and i sign up for the vocational placement and one other study module and i can start doing some real work.

    so excited im doing something for me

    i am still around... I been REALLY slack... I handed in my first assignment this week... and got two more to finish off this week and next .... I am a bit nervous about signing up for placement... DD has been with me all day everythign since she was born.

    same here except i have 2 kids.

    at the moment i have the choice of leaving them both with dh until he finds a job. but with my daughter being breastfed dh would find looking after 2 by himself a tad harder then me.

    but i have to find a place first and then see how we go

    BUMP

    i am handing in another lot on monday after i word and grammar check it.

    i start my volunteer placement on the 26th october and im stressing HEAPS

    i didnt tell her about my kids. all she knows is that i have kids.

    im worried that if i told her she might not have taken me, i know so stupid.

    im also creating a poster to stick on there wall about me working in their centre for the parents.

    has anyone already taken up their placement,

    how any hours are you doing. what days and are you COPING???
