    hey everyone

fish, i'm not in any pain now...just normal cramping occasionally. no heartbeat at 5 weeks but thats pretty normal. we are having another scan next week at about 7 weeks so maybe will see one then.
no, isaac is still a terrible eater. he usually won't eat dinner and then has a bowl of cereal & yoghurt at about 8pm! he's good with fruit but doesn't have many vegies...and only raw ones!

sam hows everything with you? is koby well again?

hey jules are you finding out the sex? (i've probably already asked!)

Koby is fine in terms of the constant ear infections, I think it must be a winter thing. If he gets them next winter we'll see the specialist. He still has excema - we're alwasy in vary8ing stages of 'managing' it. The GP gave him some really strong cortisone cream and an oral cortison medication along with warnings about how strong it was and couldn't be used for longer than 5 days etc etc. Needless to say, that scared me and we didn't fill the script. Funnily enough his excema cleared up almost immediately after that. It's flared up slight now but manageable.

As for me - still waiting on a surgery date - bloody public health system! I do have an appt with the haemotologist next Friday so at least I"m in the system. A few hot flushes but nothing much to complain about. DD is having some issues which is consuming all our attention and efforts at the moment. Everything else is on hold. So no more curve balls please!

Deb - sorry to hear about your scare. Glad all is ok now. No I don't think we are going to find out the sex. Scan is two weeks on Tuesday - can't believe how quickly time is flying this time round. Still deciding on a hospital - haha. Going to look at another one this Wednesday.

Fish- well done on catching the poo. Did you end up buying Nick a bike? Which did you get and how did it go? We want to get a trike of some sort for Blake for Christmas.

Sam - sorry to hear you are having issues with DD at the moment - hope all is ok.

Hi Deb, I'm so glad to hear that all is good again. And not long until the next scan I hope you hear a heartbeat then. Sounds like Isaac has improved a lot with his eating. great that he eats fruit and veg, even if they are raw I think DD might be a handful with her eating, she's already shown a strong preference for finger food and doesn't like the spoon.

Jules, wow! 2 weeks to the half way scan, how amazing. So do you think you'll scrutinise the pictures anyway and see if you can see . We got Nick the SparkleT bike, which was the coloured one. a local shop stocked them and they were by far the cheapest I've seen ($72, rather than a couple of hundred) It looks so cool, so I hope Nick loves it. He scoots along on his little car these days so fingers crossed 2 wheels are even better.

Sam, I had no idea Koby's eczema was still that bad. We did the same recently, got a stronger cortisone. He doesn't need oral though, but like you there's no way I'd give it to him. My mum was quite cross when she realised the oral cortisone she took made her go blind from cataracts. It's operable, but still... I still hate using the stuff, but I hate seeing all red and itchy too. Lots of hugs for you with DD. It's just a phase. If they don't cause a stir when they are teenagers they grow up to be very boring adults. but I can't imagine how hard it must be for you. Is your ex helping at all? I'm glad to hear you're feeling not too bad these days. What do you expect the haematologist to do? Is that for your blood condition?

We've all just got over another cold. Hopefully it's the last for the year. Bring on summer and Christmas!!!

Hi Julie, their web page is http://sparklet.com.au/, but they don't seem to sell through their web page, but maybe they'd be able to send you a list of people who stock them in your area? It's a kids toys shop that stocks them in ours. I think I might have also seen them online (googling) Ah yes: http://www.gr8toys.com.au/brand/SPARKLE_T.html. How's everything going/growing? How's your belly looking these days?

Julie, I just got the Aldi catalogue and they've got cheap ones in there that look nice too.
