    Thanks Ladies.

Yes DH was with me when I did the test. Having a dating scan in mid September. My obstetrician is guessing my due date as around 3 May and that I am at about four or five weeks. Which is good 'cos to get into the hospital I want you have to book before six weeks. Crazy huh? It books so quickly.

Thanks Kyra! My edd is 3 May at this stage - am having a dating scan in mid September. Congratulations to you again!!

Shelle - thank you! How are things with you?

I started work Monday just gone. In a way it's good my operation isn't going ahead as I've got a few weeks' worth of work available to me (two or three days from 9.30 to 2.30) so the money will definitely come in handy. Blake seems to be having a ball at child care now so I'm really glad I waited until he was settled in before I started work as I can now concentrate and not worry about how he's going?

Hey Jules, sounds like everything is working out well! It is so nice when you know they have a good time at childcare, isn't it. Sach had to change rooms (from 0-2 room to 2+ room) this semester and unfortunately has to be away from her favourite carer now. She doesn't enjoy it as much, but at the end of this semester she will be changing child care centres anyway. Things with me are ok. Having a pretty awful week, lucky I have Sach to keep me smiling.

Shelle I'm sorry to hear about your bad week. Have you found a new child care centre? Is it more convenient? Blake is in the 12 to 18 month old room at the moment, so once he's caught up with the others and is sleeping on a mat and eating at the table, then I think he will move up to the 18 month to two year old room. I hope it's not too unsettling for him.

Hi Shelle, great to hear from you. That's sad that Sach has to leave her favourite carer. I hope she gets a new favourite soon.

Sam, did you get the results from your tests? How;s Koby doing this week?

Jules and Kyra, how are you going? has the morning sickness set in yet?

Congratulations on the Job Julie, it sounds perfect. How is it going? did you get into your preferred hosp? is it the same one as for Blake?

Did you have a nice break Deb? Where did you go? Did you get any sleep ins? Is Isaac still a firm believe in the 4am starts?

We are going well. we had a grand day out on Monday going on a bus and boat ride with some friends. Pity it was 35 deg that day. So poor Nick's excema which was struggling with these damn eye teeth is the worst it's been for a long time. Going to take him to the docs next week to see if there's any other advice we're missing. I also looked up the developmental stages yesterday and realised Nick's a bit of an exception in still not being able to jump, so I'm going to try and teach him and ask the doc about that one too. I think it's just cos he's more of a verbal kid, and less physical, but still I know he'd love to be able to jump.

Meanwhile I'm feeling so proud of DD, as she's now sitting up really confidently (well for 5-10 min anyway, and then she wants to eat her toes or gets excited and kicks her legs out).

Hey Fish - I've had the US, which I expected to show nothing, just to ease my mind that there was no sinister reason for this. Unfortunately it has raised more questions. I have an appointment with a specialist gyn in two weeks.

DD is sitting up already?! Wow, she's so clever! Koby can't really jump either, but a friend's 2 yo has a trampoline and he can. Koby is learning, and I think the trampoline is helping. I can't believe it's 35 over there, it's still winter! It's 15 here today, very chilly.

Julie - Great to hear Blake is settling in really well, it's such a relief isn't it? Koby is completely fine now, I can go to work and really concentrate on what I'm doing. How are you feeling?

Shelle - what a pity Sach has to move. She took a little while to settle too didn't she? Has DP finished uni? Did your week get better? Mine didn't!

Kyra - how are you feeling? Any MS yet?

We're having a day out on my mother's boat tomorrow - going up the river for a family picnic with their yacht club. I hope the weather is ok.

I've been going to the gym at least 4 times a week for the last couple of weeks and have just finally started to notice some changes. A friend said this morning that she could see my body shape was changing! Yay! I'm working hard and really enjoying it but it's great to know someone else can see changes. All good for my bones!

Hey Sam, good luck with the gyn appointment, I hope you get some answers soon

Fishy, that's very impressive that Iluka can sit up! Sach couldn't until she was 9 months. I'm sure Nick will suddenly figure out how to jump very soon, and he won't stop! Have you played "let's be kangaroos"?

Jules - how are you feeling? Any symptoms?

    Hi Deb and Kyra

DP finishes uni in November, so Sach will also finish up at the uni childcare then. I am trying to enrol her in a new centre that has opened up in the city near my work, so fingers crossed they have a place at the right time. DP and I have decided to separate at the end of the year, so it's going to be kind of fiddly working out who does what and when.

Anyhoo, hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Aw, Shelle, sorry to hear about you and DP. I hope you and Sach get through it all ok. Are you going to do shared custody?

Unfortunately, i'm experienced in all that , so if you want to chat, just let me know.
