    Hi Fish

Gym is going ok, only been twice this week. Between being sick myself, Koby not sleeping because he's sick and too much work - I'm not getting up early like I planned. I had my apraisal last night - not as bad as I thought but still lots of work to do. I had a bit of a run last night too, which was good. Hard but good.

Koby has an ear infection, conjunctivitis and a huge build up of wax in his ear. We have eye drops ear drops and antibiotic. Then we have to go back in ten days to have the pressue in his inner ear checked - he's been constantly sick for nearly two months, so maybe it's his ears all along and they're just not draining?

Vege patch sounds great, Fish. Our is growing well, but my broc plants are huge, with no brocoli in there?! The gourmet lettuces are excellent. I think we've got some spinach which I should harvest soon, some roma tomoatoes and possible some caulis? The seedlings all grew well but only one batch of seeds and I don't know what they are!

Kyra - when will you test? How exciting! I still haven't had AF - been nearly two months now.

    Hey there

Im in the tww atm, so il be testing in about 11 days
Im going to try to wait till af is due but im not too sure how good my willpower will be- my fingers are crossed either way

Vege patches! mmm.. i liked the sound of you roma tomatoes! See I just dont have the patience to do it myself so we order our fresh fruit and veges from the farmers direct company. We grow our own chives and parsley and thats about al i can handle in my hectic unorganised life

I got off my bum yesterday and decided to do a proper clean of the house.. I ended up makeing the bathroom whiter then b4 we moved in haha! So when our inspection comes next week they shouldnt have anything too complain about!

Its quite a nice lil house, we have a brand new kitchen and bathroom and polished wooden floors, even the ceiling has down lights and is a beautiful crisp white.. the only thing that throws it down the drain is the main living areas walls have been left icky yellow (im guessing that was "in" back when the house was first made in 1920 LOL!)

So im going to ask the real estate to get me permission to paint them white, I know theyll probably say no, and things like that really make me wish we could afford to buy a place hehe, but im thinking its worth a try! Wish me luck!

Im sorry to hear about Kobys infection! that sounds awful the poor lil tyke! Its probable that hes been sick the last few months because of his ears.. maybe you shuld get them checked after the infection clears up.. a gf of mine has a son who gets middle ear infections all the time because hes actually missing something thats supposed to drain the ears naturally (dnt ask me what because i dont know that much about it, just that its possible)

Take care anyway and ill be back on in 11 days to tell you all about my long awaited BFP!

    Kyra

    So quiet here again.

Good luck Kyra with the TWW How's it going so far?

Sam, poor Little Koby. He's had a shocking run this winter. I guess the ears could be from the low immune system after so many colds. How is he going now?

It's the last day of DH's paternity leave today So nice. He's taken the kids to the hardware shop to buy Nick a broom (so we can use ours again). I had the worst hay fever the last few days... who would have thought that HAY would give you hay fever! Didn't think that mulch through very thoroughly did I. Still nothing's died in the vegie patch yet, which is good effort for me.

Got DD's injections today, and a whooping cough one for me too. So now I feel extra sorry for her, cos I feel a bit of her pain

Happy Birthday Isaac!!! Did you do anything to celebrate Deb?

    Hi Julie and Shelle

    Hi everyone,

Fish - Koby is on the mend, almost 100% healthy. I'm off to the dr this afternoon too, I've been getting everything he has so I've been constantly sick for 6 weeks or so. Nothing worrying, but now i"m feeling like it's moving into my chest so time to get it checked. I was planning on going to dr next week anyway to find out why I'm missing periods. I'm due in two days and currently feeling NOTHING like it's due . Haven't had one since June. Not necessarily a bad thing, but not normal either. Don't know if there's any point asking dr about it til I've officially missed two.

Our vege patch is being overrun with winter grass - should have mulched it!

    Happy Birthday Isaac!

Did you have a party for him Deb?

Hi Shelle and Julie and Kyra- hope you're all well!

Hey Sam, How did the doctors go? do you have to do any tests?

I am just amazed at how different 2 kids can be. I put DD in her cot under a play gym while I settled Nick in his bed. After 15 min she was almost getting a little whingy, so I rolled her onto her tummy and put a blanket on her. And she just shuts her eyes and goes to sleep! Then I spend another 15 minutes before Nick is finally ready for sleep.

DH went back to work today. It's was lovely having him around, but it's also nice to get my space back, if you know what i mean

    Hi Ladies

Sorry I've not been on here much.

Sam - great news that Koby is on the mend!! Sorry to hear you haven't been so well though. I've had a similar winter of lots of colds and sinusitis! After taking so many antiobiotics and nose sprays and allergy testing showing zilch results, I have decided to go see a herbalist/naturopath once my operation is over. I have a feeling dairy is behind a lot of it so am going to try and cut that out for a while. How did you go at the doctor's?

Fish - I know exactly what you mean about needing your space. I'm at the end of my tether by Sunday night! I don't think I could cope if Ben worked at home! How bad do I sound?

Kyra - good luck with ttc!

Shelle - sorry to hear about your nasty client. I hope you're having a better week. I know what you mean about the tv - I have to get Blake some play school and sesame street dvds I think for those times when I need to cook dinner. I hate having the tv on too much but sometimes you need to have something to keep them occupied. At least they are educational I guess.

Deb - happy birthday Isaac! Did you have fun celebrating?

Blake is settling into child care quite well now. I've only been leaving him for three hours up to now, and this Friday I am going to leave him there for his midday nap. They all go down after lunch for a big nap so will wait until half two and pick him up when they all get up. And then if he doesn't go too well with sleeping then he can come home and have a sleep here. Last Monday he actually waved goodbye to me which I couldn't believe, and had three bowls of lentil shepherds pie for lunch. He loves the food and gets on really well with the ladies there. They are really sweet. I love how the room he is in is just 12 to 18 month olds so he's just with kids of his own age group. And so the activities are all age appropriate. They change all the toys around a lot aswell so there is constant stimulation. Anyway, not feeling so guilty about it all now I can see he's getting so much from it. And a couple of jobs have come up too so hopefully something comes of one of them.

    Hi Fish

Yes, powerful antibiotics to get rid of whatever is still lurking, so I'm feeling a bit better already. She also sent me off for a whole heap of blood tests - iron stores, full hormone profile, thyroid function. She said she wouldn't normally do them just yet but found it interesting that my immunity is obviously not real good now. She did mention that peri-menopause is not completely unheard of at 36 , but I was already thinking along those lines.

DD sounds like a dream to get off to sleep! Fingers crossed that she keeps up the good work! I know waht you mean about having DH's home, it's lovely, but it's also lovely when they go back to work!

Hi Julie - didn't see your post there. So good to hear Blake is enjoying daycare, sounds like a great centre. My day care lady added me on FB so she can post photos of Koby for me. I had such a lovely surprise on Tuesday to see what he'd been doing only minutes before.

Sam - that is so nice of her to add photos on facebook for you. That must really brighten your day. I hope all the tests give you some answers and that you are feeling better soon. I only ever get a period every eight weeks - makes it frustrating when ttc.

Fish - DD sounds like a great sleeper. They say the second are often more relaxed, although Blake is so chilled out I wonder if I might be in for a shocker next time. As long as he/she breastfeeds better I'll be happy. Haha.

Julie, one of my friends is due with her second in a few weeks and she was saying the other day that she only hopes her second is a better sleeper. I was absolutely gobsmacked, compared to Nick her first is an angel. I hope she doesn't get a real shock. As for the bf'ing. I think everyone I know is having it easier with their second so for you too. I guess it's only the baby who has to learn how to do it second time around. The child care sounds like an excellent one. When I hear stories like that I feel guilty for keeping Nick at home. Still I really want to enjoy the year and a bit we've got left before he goes to pre-prep, and I want the two kids to enjoy each other's company too.

Sam, that's such nice news that the daycare is going well. Didn't you get everything checked out a year ago for all those things? Would it worry you if it's peri menopause? can they test for that?

And DD's not always so easy, but I'm just loving any easy ones we get.

Fish - I think I had some of those blood tests last year, can't remember exactly what. Apparently they can tell if it's menopause by the proportion of hormones. If it is, well I guess I don't want any more babies so that's not really an issue. My mother didn't start until 48 so it would be odd for me to start now, so I guess I'd want to know if there's an underlying reason for it. Also, whether I should take HRT (not keen but I don't know enough about it) - the depletion of hormones can lead to brittle bones among many other things.

My cycle is normally 19-21 days and very regular so for it to have spaced out to 4ish weeks was strange enough, then to miss two is just plain weird for me.

Can't sleep tonight - silly cough keeping me awake.
