Default Evap lines or possible extremely early BFP?

Okay, so I know you arent supposed to read a HPT after the 10mins is up...but I just cant help myself and both of my tests (1 yesterday arvo and 1 this morning) have faint lines on them. Do you think it is likely that they are evap lines? How common is it to get evap lines on 2 tests in a row? I dont know how many dpo I am as I dont chart or anything and my cycle is pretty irregular.

I only ask because in my previous pregnancies I have got BFN's and then a few days later looked at the tests and saw a faint line (after I had gotten a BFP on another test) Has this happened to anyone?

Hi Nic, what brand were you using?? I had the same with both my pregnancies too (my DS and DD), got BFN for days before a BFP but the line would be there when I checked the bin a while later (crazy I know!!) I was using forelife and I now know that they aren't the most sensitive!! Good luck and you get a sticky pregnancy soon!!

    Mine were evaporation lines

I hope that yours are early BFP's though. Good luck in waiting another few days and trying again....

I used confirm and it appeared negative so i throw it out. About 15 mins later i felt the urge to look again so i opened the bin and there was a faint second line.
Wasn't sure what to think so took another test (different brand) a couple days later and another very faint line - but it appeared within the time frame.
Few days after that a very strong second line

    Good luck

The confirm aren't an early test are they? I had the faintest of faintest lines on Confirm tests and then went and got some First Response tests and they were a LOT darker... Mayeb try First Response? Good luck!

Nic - i know they're more expensive, but I recommend getting the clearblue digital. That way there is no guessing as to whether there's that 2nd line or not. It comes up "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and gee it feels wonderful when it actually tells you in words that you're pregnant!!! Keeping my fingers crossed tightly for you!!!

I am in the same boat as you Nic25. I had a very faint 2nd line after 5 minutes. It happened with my first bub. It was very faint line at first, after one week, it was a strong positive.

Hi Nic. If I get a BFN there is no 2nd line, even a day later.
I have everything tightly crossed for you, and can't wait to hear your good news. It's your turn to have a sticky bub
