Default A car for a new family whats best?

Hubby and i are on the painstaking task of trying to find a safe and appropriate car for our new little one. we want boot space and comfort. what have you guys got and do you like it or dislike it? im getting rid of my lil astra hatch and i like sporty 4wd whilst hubby would like to look into a station wagon.

You remind me of me. If that makes any sense. Lol.

I sold my little Astra SRI for a 2004 VZ Commodore Wagon.

All comes down to how much your willing to spend. For us it was down to the Bogandore & a Territory. Territory was a little to much for the budget at this point in time so we went with the Commodore & will buy my parents Territory off them in 2011.

    Ford Territory!

I love my car, huge boot space.

Fits 2 adults across the back and the baby seat very comfy.

I got the 7 seater so I also have the choice of putting the seats up which is great for us.

I'm on the same hunt, but after a 9-12 seater, so likely not what you are after.

I'll most likely go with a Toyota HiAce commuter.

i love the territory and it would be my first choice but they are just out of our price range unfortunately i think we might end up with a commodore wagon but i really would like to avoid it
