Default 7 months of trying never had to try before...

    i have had 4 pregnancys, 3 m/c.

with all 4 i have got pregnant the 1st time.

now trying for number 2, it has been 7 months and nothing, even after charting my temps and OPT's to make sure we get the right day.

    it's frustrating.

i thought after my 3rd m/c there was something wrong with me and i was never going to be able to have kids, then a yr after my 3rd m/c i got pregnant, and i didn't think that it would work, i found out that on (most women) CD14 is most fertile day and we BD'ed once and got bella... and now after 7 months nothing....

since we have been trying my cycle is messed up, before we were trying it was every 28day, i could set me watch to it. the last 7 months, it has been between 25 and 30 day, and only lasting about 3-4 days and very light hardly anything at all.

could there be something wrong with me after 3 m/c's ????

    Hi There Isabellasmummy,

I am really sorry to hear about your losses and it is totally understandable that you are frustrated.

It sounds like you may be experiencing hormonal imbalances causing your periods to be irregular. Sometimes such irregularities can also be caused by a whole variety of issues including sub-clinical thyroid dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, lifestyle and environmental exposure to certain chemicals and toxins as well as many other factors which would need to be investigated further.

Some of the very causes of hormonal imbalances can also increase the risk of miscarriages, however because you've had miscarriages in the past it does not automatically mean this is the reason for your current situation.

Preconception health care, specifically when you and your partner both take the time to optimize your health for at least 120 prior to a conception attempt can dramatically increase your chances of creating another very healthy baby, whilst reducing the chances of another miscarriage.

At this point I am not sure what investigations you have already had, however, as a minimum, I'd suggest that you are investigated for anti-miscarriage and sperm antibodies (your GP can do this); also get your day 21 progesterone and your day 2 FSH/LH levels checked.

In addition, poor sperm parameters, in certain cases can also lead to miscarriages so getting your partner checked can be very useful. There are lots of positive lifestyle changes he can implement to (naturally) and positively impact the health of his sperm and "supercharge" his contribution to a healthy pregnancy.

Feel free to post another question or privately message me if you need any further clarification.

    With fertile blessings,
