Zimby- I really hope this cycle is the cycle for you. DH & I had a chat lastnight & if this cycle's result is negative we've decided to do a third round of IUI. as well.

SM- I know what you mean about feeling like a pin cushion. So far this cycle I've had 18 injections & 6 blood tests. How's the pregnyl injections going? I hated them the most, they bl00dy hurt!

Hi Mekiss, Well, you've beat me with the number of injections - how come so many? I've only had one Pregnyl injection so far, and that was the Trigger Injection last Wednesday night. It did sting for a while, but I've had worse injections than that, and I figure, no pain, no gain! I have to give myself two booster shots this coming week - Tuesday and Saturday, and then that's it until the Pregnancy Blood Test on Mon 24th. How many cycles of OI with IUI have you done?

    HI starynight,

Have you had any luck with the combination of the two. I am new so not sure how I will see your reply, if you reply.

I'm on Clomid #2 waiting to see if it's worked this month.

Hi Michelle, I don't have any scars from my lap. It goes in through your belly button. The anesthetic knocked me around a bit but it wasn't too bad. I was freaking out before mine but it was fine.
I hope this cycle is the winner! Where are you in your cycle? The 2ww is the worst.

Mekiss, Good luck for Tuesday. I will be thinking of you

Hi siansmum, I have done 1 natural cycle of IUI (no drugs) then I did one IUI cycle with Clomid, and now I have just started taking clomid again for my third and final IUI. Our FS will not let us do more than 3 as he said if it hasnt worked by then the chances are is probably not going to. Lol...I feel like a pin cushion too coz of all the BT's, at least I didnt have the injections yet although if our IUi dosnt work this time we have to do IVF and i'm sure theres heaps of injections involved in that process.

Heh Michelle70, dont be too scared about the lap I had one in March 09 and I was scared as well but it was fine. I it done on a Friday and couldnt do anything all weekend, but I slowly started getting better after that, although I did have to have the entire week off work, just coz of the soreness, but it wasnt too bad. I had 3 incisions, one in my belly button, one just above my pubic line and one just slightly down and across from my belly button, in my addomen. You totally cannot see the belly button one at all, and the other 2 you can see, however they are soooo small and now 5 months later they are getting smaller all the time so its absolutely fine, it just looks like a very small blemish now.

    mekiss good luck for tomorrow.

    Hi Zimby and Jane 007.

Thanks for your help with the lap advice. I'll try not to stress about it too much if the scaring isn't too bad.

I'm not being monitored this month so I don't know when exactly I ovulated but hopefully in 4 days time I will know. Every feeling or change in your body you notice hey and wonder "could this be it?"

    Thanks for your reply

Siansmum, I go to Mac Talbot, isn't he just lovely? I have seen a child in his waiting room on one occasion and it actually gave me hope. I think that when women are seeing a fertility specialist, they obviously still have some hope (even if it feels impossible at times) so seeing a child there might just give them that inspiration to keep trying.

Good luck with everything! I hope you get your BFP very very soon

Thanks lemonpancakes (yum, making me hungry!). Yes, Mac Talbot is delightful - a real grandfather figure. Thanks for your comments about taking my daughter into the clinic. I hope it gives people hope, seeing her, although Sian was conceived naturally without any problems, but I wouldn't tell anyone that unless they asked.
I'm now in the long and painful two week wait. My husband keeps asking me each night if I "feel" pregnant yet. I have to say that I don't, and I'm trying VERY hard not to get my hopes up, but it's difficult not to, isn't it?! I had my first booster injection of Pregnyl yesterday, and have another one on Saturday, and then it's a wait until the 24th when I have my blood test.
What is your story, lemonpancakes? I'd be interested to hear it.
